Hmm, I'd say Unearth is harder with the exception of the boss. The ghosts are much more prevalent in Unearth compared to Bio and for me they are the hardest ones to survive. I'd take level 27 over level 26 any day.
And in Unearth your teammates generally take the attitude "every man for himself" compared to Bio where the layout of the map and the "toxic gas" make you stay together as a team. -

No, it may seem that way, but you really just need to stock up on hypomeds. Speaking of which, I wonder if they'll tweak the difficulty on Normal for when Hard comes out. -
Reflecting on what someone said. I say Biohazard is harder because of the lack of space for the most part, limited grenades, snipers everywhere, and though there are less Ghost's on Biohazard there are plenty Dread's and Mutant's to keep you busy. Oh and you can't use you're trusty gun to help you on Biohazard, just some random gun.

Another thing, today in Unearth, we camped in that stone house on the bottom right in that little corner for the first 18 waves. One guy had an RPK, two had a Thompson & I had an MP5adv. Lol! It was hilarious! An entire battalion got mowed the fu.ck down right in that only entrance! There's only one way for them to get to us since we had the walls protecting us!

Biohazard has a harder boss and unearthed has harder waves. saying this i would rather fight the 29 waves of hard zombies on unearthed and fight the easy boss then fight 29 waves of easy zombies and a harder boss on biohazard. I find that biohazard is the harder map because i only have 7 wins on it instead of the 32 on unearthed. there are also easy stratz on unearthed that make it kinda easy to win with the right players unlike biohazard where i find it is kinda choas most of the time. i also tend to need revives or meds in biohazard because of the boss killing me all the time.

Definitely Unearth. You need at least 10 revives to keep you and your team alive there. Biohazard keeps you "moving"
In Unearth. There is no where to move because by level 25, the zombies pretty much are flanking you in mass. that AI caught me off guard when half of the zombies ran the other way to intercept me. -
