Self-Regulation
Why is it that the competitive community is not allowed to present evidence and come to their own conclusions regarding possible blights on their community, and is instead forced to stick with a ******ed policy that a) can take months to work, and b) that only bans the person in question's main/current accounts, without publicizing the ban, leaving the person unknown to the competitive community?
How is not allowing the system to fix itself, and forcing it to rely on an uneffective, completely seperate system entirely, anything but ridiculous?

You don't leave a four year old to fix themselves a meal, don't you ? If you do, what can go wrong ? If a computer gets a virus, it doesn't fix itself. If someone kills a person they most likely won't turn themselves in.such as sauce, an uneducated blasian male
I see you must've raised your post count to 5,000, post away! -

If a computer is programed to automatically rid itself of viruses, then yes, you do.
EDIT: Your murder analogy is ******ed and has nothing to do with the subject at hand. -
Well, I mean what do you want everyone to say? :I Its more of a statement instead of a question, only person I could see answering this one of the people working for Wogl/Esl.[MOD]Iceman wrote: »Lots of views and none of you want to post..such a shame. -

Leagues have nothing to do with this. -
Then I fail to see your point, unless we're referring to a group with authority over the players there is nothing to debate. Suggesting the community have any say on banning players is just ridicules.Leagues have nothing to do with this. -

Nobody said anything about banning. Just because you slurred both ideas together doesn't mean that they're what I originally typed. -
This (unnecessarily of course, nobody is impressed), and the fact that Denxi is never wrong.BlitZ_Bolt wrote: »He used too many big words for most of the people in this community.
I'll comment when Denxi gets down to the actual point in plain english, it usually takes a few pages. -
That's a big if and does this community have that if ?
Whether or not they do is actually irrelevant.
We wouldn't be abandoning Z8's system. It's just not doing anything. SO we also allow the players to post evidence regarding cheaters on the competitive forum. This way, not only all the players POSSIBLY getting banned by Z8, but it also can become public knowledge to the competitive community, to do with what they will. -

Big words = more specific definition = less vague.
Big words = used to be more vague = more vague.
I can do both bro. -
Taking away the rule that state no one can accuse or bring reports of cheating players here would just bring about more spam, and useless arguments that already exist.Whether or not they do is actually irrelevant.

As well as making competitive cheaters' presence more known. Big ****ing positive. -
Denxi, I'd love to see some expansion on your original Post.
Are you essentially asking why we would (or tell mods to) remove posts containing proofs/evidence of hackers?
The simple response is that it's impossible to close off a certain part of the forums to only the competitive community and that posting of any hack is too tempting and too much promotion of the hack itself.
Understand that we remove posts containing hacks not because we want to boost the reputation of the player (or make it seem like a known hacker is some sort of legit player). But we don't want people posting a hack and then the thread becoming one of the most popular threads in X forum, and subsequently have someone come here find that hack and then use it themselves.
Posting of a hacker on these boards propagates hacking in a general sense. No video game company wants to see that kind of thing on their official boards.
I hope to that point this makes some sense anyways. -

i think denxi was more meaning competitive people that get caught cheating should be allowed to have evidence of them cheating displayed in this section if i am not wrong?
