Patch < FAil
Basically iam a windows 7 ultimate user , ever since the patch before the last , my game has begun to show very strange things
1st- whenever i play as gr in ghost mode half way through the game my pc crashes and restarts
2nd - i get the connection delayed message which i never used toget before
3rd - The black screen thing ( very common)
4th and finally My client would freeze and freeze my pc with it
a lot fo win7 ultimate users are experiencing these problems , is it related to one of the windows 7 ultimate updates? some feedback would be great

I haven't had any problem except the usual room host erros, this is your pc's failure.. as I'm also running Windows 7. -
It sounds like you should uninstall CF, redownload the game, and give it a fresh reinstall... If that doesn't help you may have really gunked up your OS and might consider a fresh rebuild of Windows.
There are so many variables as to what can be going wrong here that its a bit premature to say its all CF's fault. -

Try restoring your system (through System Restore) to an earlier point (I like the earliest date since I know thats when it was running its fastest), you may have to update/reinstall some stuff if you do that though.
Also try running CF in a compatibility mode... turn off all programs that run on startup (msconfig) and dont run anything in the background.
If none of this works you may have a hardware conflict?
I use Win 7 Pro and have had no problems. -

Looking at Win Ultimate and Pro specs... Im a computer science major BTW in tech capitol of the world... there shouldn't be any differences that will make a difference, as far as OS goes... are you running 32 or 64 bit? -

No idea , computers are my blindspot -
go to your start menu ( the bottom left usually of your screen where the Windows logo is ) go to computer and right click on it and select properties, left click on properties.
Under System type it will tell you 32 or 64 bit operating system.
Lemme know what it says. -

HD: 250 GB
Graphics memory: 1GB
Internet speed: 2 MB per Sec.
FPS: 260
Status: 70 ping

i have no problem in my windows 7 -
I have 7 Enterprise (also called "Ultimate". Professional has a couple less features). If u dont believe me, put a valid key in windows anytime upgrade and your system will transform in less than 10 min. I dislike when people post incorrect stuff pretending they are cool.

Lol, none of that information is very relevant to the speed of your computer relative to FPS, or in general.bro... ur PC fail, i run the CF in win 7 ultimate
