game suddenly working critically choppy while in game playing

hi all,
first yesterday the game was working perfectly smooth but today i'm having a problem and
the problem is that when I'm in game playing (EX:alaska) the game is getting slow and choppy like a slide show of pictures please help me and tell me what's the exact problem and how to solve it,thanks

Have you recently installed any software or program in your computer? As you said, yesterday the game was working fine so something probably was installed/modified in your computer... Make sure you close all programs before you run the game, it might help.

yeah,only prog. that i installed was game booster,please help me fast.
Ps:i play wolfteam and silkroad and combat arms but they're working perfectly normal,only crossfire works sluggish and choppy while in game playing (in maps only)

please help me i'm started to be bored.
ps:the game started to be choppy in the 1024*768 mode and i can't play except on it i do not play on (wide)resolutions or resolution 800*600
ps:1280*768 resolution works fine for a game but it's sluggish cauze i don't have a high performance CPU

Uninstall the Game Booster program and follow these steps:

- Uninstall the game completely
- Disable your antivirus' realtime protection
- Redownload the game
- Install the game
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection

It might help.

thank you for the reply but i did that and the game setup isn't corrupt or blocked by the Anti virus,and my problem that is the game is working fine on 800*600 resolution and a little bit sluggish on 1280*768 resolution but when i make it 1024*768 it's real sluggish and CHOPPY while playing and it's even more sluggish than the 1024*768 resolution and the only resolution i can play on in 1024*768 resolution.
Ps: the thing that is driving me crazy that the game was working perfectly SMOOTH but the morning of the next day the game went terribly CHOPPY,why?i don't know.
please help me,and thank you.

slide show means your fps is crashing , I get it to
I dont know how to solve it
restart ? die ? idk ?
in a TD ill just Wait and my fps will go back to normal but it has been choppy

yeah that's almost it my fps from 60 suddenly gets 0 then 100 then 30 on the 1024*768 resolution other than this it's normal. i can't or i'm not good in any resolution except in 1024*768 resolution,help me plz
