crossfire wont work x.x

i have windows vista and starting about 5days ago everytimei try to open up crossfire , an error message will pop up saying, 'nProtect game monitor rev 1315 has stopped working' i used system restore for awhile but now the dates dont go back far enough so i basically cant play crossfire anymore and i put a lot of money into it, but i can log into crossfire but i basically cant join any games and sometimes cantjoin a server, someone pls help-im frustrated >.<
