  • It was a great patch in my opinion, one of the best in a long time. Although I think it would make the patch or update even better is if they increased the EXP rate from ZM and made the items exclusively used to survive in ZM for sale in BP.
  • I'll say this is my favorite patch for this game. It had a little bit of everything. New Mode, New Maps, new character, new zp items and new GP weapon. All of which can be used together or separate.

    I love the new GP weapon. It's powerful, yet hard to master which means no one can whine about me ownin' them with this weapon and it fits my playing style like a glove to an outfielder.

    Can't wait for the new events to come!

    My only suggestion is to have some sort of stats so we can see on our profiles of how many Zombie bosses and zombie kills we have.
  • For me is a very good (one of the best) patch.
    Hudge amount of updates, new weapons, new mode, new items et.c.
    Zombie mode is nicely ballanced (low exp but crates with temp good weapons).
    Only one thing for me is like a ... NO f... way :P
    RIBBONS = no way that I'll earn ribbon in one year :P
    OMG really 1000 kills bosses? I'm playing once a day zombie mode so if I win every day I'll earm ribbon in 3 years :)
    Please change this to 500 kills :P It's too hard (for me because I preffered other modes = more exp :P)
    Second ribbon is reachable :P but you need ofcourse ZP's :)
    Finally - Great patch with hardest ribbons :)

    At the moment, your zombies kills is counting on your main K/D ratio. They will put them apart in the future, because gaining free kills just by killing AI zombie is clearly an unexpected bug (yes the GMs are already aware).

    As for the boss kills, you can already check this on your profile in game, ;)

    I'm not even supposed to have Army of One ribbon, so imagine how many kills I'll lose, xD! I don't mind, I'm pretty close to it. I should have around 98'000, something like that.
  • this was a great patch imo even know the zombies got some crazy range but i love the new mode its fun an good to take a break from anything else on the game so good job guys
  • I think its great with the new mode and the two maps. I also like the new weapons (saving for the ruger:D)!
    The items and the characters are cool too! BUT i think that its on time to get a gp crate...
    Please don't make a color remix!
  • If I'm with a good team, zombie mode is pretty fun ^^

    I just got 2 problems with the mode..

    1.) Some zombies just walk underground went going up a ramp.. and then you're damaged.

    2.) If you move next to a ghost zombie and he appears and starts his attack, no matter how far you run, you're damaged. Sometimes he's REALLY far away when striking, but you're still damaged -_-
  • Hi, in my opinion, the patch is great peace of work.
    Lots of new things in one patch.
    The one and only thing that I didn't like was the low amount of EXP. that we earn after a ZM game.
    Even if you give crates, witch is good, you must admit that exp. is pretty low for a game that takes a long time to finish it.

    But in overall the patch is AWESOME.
  • The Patch was great and was worth for the wait!

    To improve zombie mode:

    -Add hard mode.
    -Make 8 players in Hard mode.
    -Add another boss!
    -Make Normal Mode easier. (I keep dieing on round 28).
    -Fix glitches
    -Add damage zones.
    -Fix some spelling mistakes.
    -Add more maps.
    -Add More Guns for this mode!!!

  • Too many glitches giving cheaters an easy ride without even having to install a hack!
  • ok heres my review since now thanks to disabling my shadows i can play zm without error so here we go:

    first enimies:
    the enimies are unbalenced the snipers on unearth seem to have a wall hack as i have been shot through walls and 180'ed by the snipers about 100 times now(10 times a game or so)

    almost all enemies tank worse then a br downloading p0rn0
    and I haven't made it to the boss's yet other then some titans(norrmally the snipers walling get me to often and really letent hits)

    the mechanics:

    im noticing its insanly easy to get stuck on parts of the map and the mutants in particular seem to have some latency issues when they slash around 1-3 seconds in my exp while i have 29 ping(not from canada)

    also the mutants seem to increase range when the player (thats you) has used the f-boost and even though your suppossed to run faster and hit harder it seems to have very little effect (it seems less then the boost in mutation mode for the g special of dread or the default)


    the maps:

    bio hazard seems to be the easiest map until the last leg the only issues i have with it is that the radiation can catch up to you to fast

    unearth has nice layout but the zombie snipers like i said earlier seem to be able to hit you through walls and you get stuck quite often not to mention with the ammo against a wall if your whole team goes to restock u cant all fit normally


    overall i give it a 3/5 for the poor mechanics and the fact that almost every zombie reminds me of a br(of course the trailer did say if everyone you ever killed came back to life so you do the math = P)

    What's not to get about Zombie mode, or also known as "Challenge Mode" from CF China? It's one of the most famous modes and wanted by pretty much all the versions of CF. With the past 2 years of suggesting Challenge Mode, we finally get the mode.

    Now everyone's complaining because Zombie mode is too hard because of the small things.

    It gets annoying as 'F' is my drop weapon button.
  • At the moment, your zombies kills is counting on your main K/D ratio. They will put them apart in the future, because gaining free kills just by killing AI zombie is clearly an unexpected bug (yes the GMs are already aware).

    As for the boss kills, you can already check this on your profile in game, ;)

    I see.. but is there a way to see that on the z8games website? I also want to see kills because the game does record them, so it would be neat to see how many zombies I actually killed w/o having to go in-game.
  • it's a lot of fun, for many of the reasons already stated. A little bit more variety in unearthed would be good, how about some weapon and ammo drops in addition to the nades and hypos, sometimes it's pretty hard to reload in the tent. Add more push back, if you can run backwards effectively they shouldn't be able to close in on your so fast while being shot, give the guys with skill a little break. I think the modes are well balanced even though I have not yet made it to the end. IMO it will require prior strategy planning with some friends.

    im pretty sure they will be adding it to the the profile page, i read a few messages from saidin where he said the kills go onto our normal KD and the kills will be removed and there will be another way of keep track of zombie kills on the profile page at some point, so you just gotta wait :P
  • Great patch, but it would be nice if Normal mode was easier, or make it so that you don't need revive tokens to make it to the boss.

    one thing I don't like is that when the boss appears, and you kill the the zombies then, you don't get any points for killing these points. I think this should be changed. it's unfair if you don't get points for killing these. Also give everyone an boss reward. you helped them to kill him and the change you kill him is very small.
    The rest, it's a great patch! nice new maps and mode. Also the new guns are nice. But i really want points for killing zombies when the boss appeared.

    Also, either you kill the boss or another one. As long you're in the game and the boss died (normal), you will receive 1 boss icon (you need 5 of these to collect your boss crate). You can check them in the Challenge icon in the channel lobby (Zombie Record tab)

    well I never knew you get one coin if you there when the boss is defead. I alway die in 25 or something :/
    That other point about the points when the boss is there, I muct say your right. i never looked it by that way, but now I see what you mean.

    on the boss round, no points are given except when you hit the boss

    all the other zombies do not give points

    Yeh, my drop weapon button is also 'F', and whenever i want to drop my weapon, I'd waste my ' power up ' and whenever i wanna ' power up ' i have to keep switching to knife so that i don't drop my weapon..
  • Green mutants need to be slowed down
    ghosts need a smaller kill radius
    Everything else looks god
    Imo: People can already wall the zombies and kill goliath with 2 shots
  • I am enjoying it and looking forward to additional maps in the future. I think the mode has been well thought out...probably the only slight dissapointment is that I wish there was more EXP/GP awarded. Nice Job though...and THANKS!
