Setup v1073 Not Working

Hi,

I have been trying to play Crossfire for awhile now, but am unable to do to the fact i always have problems installing it.

I can download it fine, but when i click on the Setup, my computer just freezes, always. Then my PC crashes. I am currently trying to install Setup v1073.

I have Windows Vista, and meet all the requirements to play, but am unable to solve this issue.

So i need help on how to fix this problem.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried running the setup as an Administrator? Right click the .exe and "run as administrator".

    Also, have you downloaded the COMPLETE download? sometimes downloads mess up and leave you 100 megabytes hangin or so, check to see what you are downloading is a complete package.

    Have you tried downloading from other mirrors? What about torrenting?

    If i try right clicking to run as Admin, it freezes and makes my PC crash.

    I have tried using the downloads from East Mirror 1 and from CNet. They both do the same exact thing.

    I can't even click the Setup file to delete it, i have been deleting and making new users on my PC to try each time.

    I'm going to try and download from somewhere else now...

    Sorta the Same thing

    I've encountered a similar problem about the Setup wont work, it goes slow and it takes about 4 minutes to load anything, so far i've downloaded the setup 5 times and encountered the same problem (the other 4 i deleted), i just want this fixed because its making me mad. And im always getting these stupid errors when i try to restart my cpu for freezing and crashing, or because my cpu goes slow

    The Error is: ShellExecuteEx failed; code 3221225786

    Get that type of errors after an hour from tryin to start the setup

    And Im really mad right now, because i just want to play this game with my bro Dx
