Just a tip if you are trying to hide who you are - use a different photobucket.
On a different note. Claymore - anyone still reading the manga?
nope, people can easily guess i'm Rena, people could of asked if they wanted to.
I used to read claymore but stopped following.... its still going? -
Do the manga and the anime have the same plot? Cause Claymore was the first anime I watched in the internet but it was a few years ago.
The manga and anime are exactly with the same except the manga actually continued the story past the war in the north into what happened afterwards. -
Caught up to date with the thread. Flames, fights and trolls. And finally discussion.
I take it not many watch or read seinen genre series like Aa! megami-sama, classics like ghost in the shell or old series like Sakura Wars or Slayers? I suddenly feel old...
Anyways a few more weeks till the Fall season series starts.
Oh and favorite animes: Clannad,Air, H20~Footprints in the sand~, Nanoha series,Shuffle and a whole bunch of series... (i could list about a hundred series).
Anyone play/read Visual Novels or Kinetic novels also? -

I remember Ghost in the Shell, I personally thought it was awful. It is one of those series that a bunch of 14 year olds like to watch and say "wow, I am really emotionally deep and intelligent because I can understand this show and its underlying political meanings"
Rory plays visual novels, I play H-novels now and then. -
Ghost in the shell is also an anime series, and i believe there is a second movie too.Liqweedate wrote: »Can you name any other anime movies like that one?
Watched the first one today, 't was amazing.
If your talking about cyberpunk theme or dystopian future, try Akira(But im not too sure about since its really out and can be a turn off). But if your looking for a similar movie in setting try watching Appleseed & Appleseed Ex machina (CG movie) But any other is kinda hard to ask for since i've forgotten a lot what i have seen
And the recently out game: [Deus Ex : Human revolution] is quite similar to Ghost in the shell in setting. -
I can also understand you. But the first season is more or less dealing with political meaning with the laughing man incident. And the second is not that great, except a emotional ending in where the tachikomas sacrificed themselves.I remember Ghost in the Shell, I personally thought it was awful. I also play Hgames, but not animated ones. And visual novels are kinda hard to play since i know little japanese and constantly wait for translations -

Whenever it comes back up there were about 400+ h-game visual novels on a site. They are changing servers for now. All of the games were translated which makes it a bit easier. -
You talking about the one that has alot of expert/professional coders that hack into almost any japanese game and translating them? And the same one who's japanese/chinese character mean "red fire?"Whenever it comes back up there were about 400+ h-game visual novels on a site. They are changing servers for now. Mhmmmm.
I'm bored waiting for their servers to come back. They have all of the best stuff. -
I don't play many, generally only the Key visual novels. I've got Clannad and Kanon completely translated if you want them. Waiting on a Rewrite translation. And visual novels are kinda hard to play since i know little japanese and constantly wait for translations -
