Nobody likes all animes. i just watched the first episode of Toradora!. It got a special humor and I like it. But I am not sure if the story will captivate me.

It is like most drama/romance type things. The plot has a general beginning and the plot thickens mid-way through.

You're right, cartoons are for kids. They have silly jokes and are intended for getting young children to giggle. However other things have very deep and emotional plots intended for adult or teenage viewing. The method they use to deliver those plots may still be cartoonish, but the material itself isn't for children.

The fall lineup looks great, Tamayura I believe is the title looks really good.

The one thing that I'm really really looking forward to is the Black Rock Shooter anime.

The OVA was brilliant, the anime should be good.

Regarding the first part that can easily be true for plenty of anime, however a large portion of it is aimed towards a more mature audience - Usagi Drop is about adoption and being a single father and the stigma that comes from that.

The plots are often similar you are right, but occasionally an anime breaks that barrier and becomes unique, those are usually considered the masterpieces of anime, unless it was bad.

There are plenty of stories which fit neither of those two examples.

As for the artwork you aren't wrong, the drawing is very unrealistic. It is something you either like or don't like. There are a few series where the artists use more realistic styles.
