Dont reinstall or download the game again because that is wrong
the problem is very easy
go to version.ini file in the folder game and right click on it and go to properties and remove
the mark from read only so u can change the file and open it , it should be opened with notepad and then change LatestVersion = 1072 to LatestVersion = 1073
and save it and go to properties again and put the mark on read only to prevent changing the file then go to the patcher and open it .
it will make the update and the game will start

when the game tell that you failed to connect to server that means the servers are under mantainance and will work after a while
this site show you if crossfire is under mantainance or not :

had not seen the post and erased everything on my computer, I downloaded again with the V1073 and I still can not play! help me please! we thank you!
