Ad hominem. When people have 0 arguments.
Oh and i'm gonna do more with my life than waste it on a failed cause imo.ChubIzntCool wrote: »i don't agree with the iraq war, but i definitely do NOT agree with your statement.
Yes i kinda of over exagerated with the US is the villain. Not exactly what i meant. -
RequiemZero wrote: »I could argue, but I see no point in it. You're an obvious troll. The only winning move is not to play. So kid, go away. I'm done having a pointless argument with you.
I'm actually not trolling, if i was the whole thing would have gone differently.
What I said is my personal opinion, but i kinda over exagerated with the "the US is the villain" thing, not exactly what i meant to say. -
Because Americans are idiots who love to throw their lives away to be "patriotic"
This.RequiemZero wrote: »And I guess that makes me an idiot for deciding to serve my country? Because I wanted to do something, that in the long run, might actually make a difference? I didn't do it to be patriotic. I did it for more selfish reason. I'm joining the Army so I can help make sure that this world is a safer place for my children, and my children's children.
Thats not how you "serve" your country. Its people like you, and others which make my dad pay 35% of his income to the government. Wasteful spending which does nothing. Literally nothing.
Seriously wake the hell up.tastylime_st wrote: »Patriotic, HA. You're a puppet.RequiemZero wrote: »What makes you think that the US is killing children? Or are you, like the rest of the world, making huge assumptions as to what the United States does, to try to make a monster out of something that isn't? How old are you, five?
It's people like, the ones who try to make villains out of the United States that are the reason people look down on the soldiers.
"Rest of the world" is actually true in this regard. They are not quote on quote USA military personal, but shady mercenaries from the USA and other countries are more than causing their fair share of harm which is also payed for by the government in one way or another.ChubIzntCool wrote: »IMO only justified american wars: WW1, WW2, Cold war (as in afganistan, korea, and vietnam)
How was Vietnam a just war? How was Korea a just war? How is any war just?
Vietnam and Afghanistan especially... Our principle of allowing people their own choice of living is broken. Who are we to force upon our European and American values onto tribal people? Let them advance on their own. Not force an advance.DatEm0tioN wrote: »I know american soldiers do it just like some other soldiers do it. Ffs there are videos of american soldiers shooting people from helicopters and laughing, SHOOTING CIVILIANS. There is also a video of a marine throwing a puppy off of a cliff and many other shiit like that. You aren't signing up to protect your country, you are signing up to serve your governments oil and money thirst, but you are so brainwashed you can't even fuucking realize it.
Iraq isn't the villain here, you are, you started a war because of a oil and blaimed it on terrorists, spreading a huge wave of racism towards ALL muslims when most of them are just normal people.
And btw i don't look down on soldiers, i look down on idiots that can't think for themselves and believe in everything they are told.

Ad Hominem. It's not just to you, everyone getting off-topic in THIS thread.
I just don't want to see the thread closed.
How is this off topic? It's clearly stating that taking that route for your future is definitly not bright, and negatively impacting literally everyone.
Those wars don't help us "protect" our freedoms. They did, have, and will do exactly the opposite. Remember the Patriot Acts of the 2000's?
Can't believe we still have idiots that think that going to those wars were in any way patriotic. Yes, totally patriotic to spend 2 trillion dollars of American TAX PAYER MONEY, lose AMERICAN lives, and consequently have the REST OF THE WORLD hate us. On top of that, Americans lost their own CIVIL RIGHTS which are supposed to be PROTECTED by the CONSTITUTION.
Anyone that says that they are going to go to "protect" our freedom is going because they are a tool. Nuff said. -
Meh. We invaded Iraq for it's oil. 9/11 was made as an excuse to invade it once again since the 1st attempt (we went to defend Kuwait) failed. Countless United States soldiers lose there lives for a highly corrupt reason. Money. And if Requim comes back just to let you know my cousin is a sergeant in the United States Army and he even says that what he is fighting for is for all the wrong reasons. Also what he sees a lot is constant r@ape of woman and killing of children(this is done by the warjunkies). So yea....

How did 9/11 have anything to do with Iraq?
Are you serious? Afghanistan =/= Iraq. -

I was going to go into Game Design, but I realized that programming was too difficult, can't make music, stories are subpar at best, and I can't act...
So I fell back on the good old IT idea. Going to school for "Computer Sciences" and will most likely be setting up IITV courses in my school division, or working for my mother's Credit Union.
