Slow loading

by the way, I have the same error as you guys.

yep i try and play it takes along time to get in a game. i get host error and i have to task manager to close crossfire ever since patch ive been trying to get in game it takes forever to play then i get a black screen error =\... hopefully they will fix this soon.

That doesn't fix it. I have my computer set to the LOWEST graphical quality possible for CF. I even have the save replay shut off. My computer still does the slow loading time, but I get a black screen in the middle of the loading.

yeah i get like a black screen after like 2 seconds of seeing the game start to load but then it just goes back and loads properly.
Maybe setting your screen resolution down can help.

Like I said, I have it on the LOWEST graphic setting.. I'm using the 800x600 resolution.. I never had this problem until the patch came.

Then just leave. No need to go crying around saying you hate Z8 cuase its not gonna change anything. Half of peoples problems are with their computer not z8's fault.
Therefore if you really hate it then just go away. nobody is making you play this game and please dont make it your life to go around complainig.

This has nothing to do with the settings, at least for me.

For me it doesn't matter if I use high or low settings, the game always needs 1 minute to load. Before the last update the loading times was like 5-15 secs.

may be if we deleted it and installed it again 7 times it fixed ? magic !!!!

may be if crossfire have a console we would know where is the error ! console to crossfire like other fps games like quake3,doom3,call of duty..

It's kinda the same for me.

After the waiting the loading screen comes up again and 2 or 3 seconds after that a popup appears and says that the connection has been delayed. I just tried it and it's still not working.

By the way, am I the only one who can't play at all?

you seriously are ******ed arnt you.

if anyone already seen, this game is full of problems and bugs. Sometimes the game closes alone, by non-reason, when click "Join" on a room, Sometimes it gives me "Failed to connect. Host error... returning". That's extremally stupid error. If takes too long for log in, it makes you open the game again.. if you click over twice on "zombie reward list", it crashed and makes the computer EXTREMALLY SLOW for over a minute, etc... I dont remember other, but I'm surely there are more. And have to do with slowing, not in-game, but on something else, changing room, channel, going through server. Everything I told is truth.
