Since the US SOUTH SERVER were released not everyone got a better ping.
Some brazilians lag more in Us South than in Bravo, Brazil is a very large country and the us south server lag for Brazilian East -
1. Wrong. That logic would imply USA would be in Brazil's position in this game.. or at least close enough.
I put it down to childish ignorance and lack of morals. I was brought up not to cheat and lie... at least for my own benefit. So I dont. I know better.
True, it may be that they lack the skills, so they cheat. The ping may also be a factor.
Again.. child ignorance. If youre not good at something.. you either practise at it... or stop it.
2. True. I did my own research on this a little while ago. Internet costs is a problem in Brazil with 2mb being the most popular option as anything higher costs too much. However. Overall... wrong. Having higher speeds is irrelevant. Having 2mb download... its irrelevent to transfer a couple hunder kb per second up and down. Its more than enough.
The problem lies in Brazils Internet Infrastructure. Its bad. It routes incorrectly. It can be compared to my ISP. My ISP trasfers it to random spots all over the UK, USA and then Canada. Rather than directly. Tested myself.. it takes well over 20 locations before resting in Canada where by then.. im getting 30 more ping than I should technically have.
I started CF with 2mb/s. Upgraded to 10mb/s. No change. In the slightest.
3. You certainly make up a large portion of the game... Customers... Im not so sure.
I dont have official numbers on this... so this is as much a guessing game as it is for you. You dont know how much Brazil spends.. nor do I... but looking at it logically... I'd say.. no.
Like you said... most of the game is populated by children. How many children have a credit card? Assuming they did... Brazilian currency is worth much less than the British Pound (using as an example) It costs roughly 3x as much over there, as it would in England. Now, I dont know many kids with Credit Cards.. but unless theyre using their parents cards (which they would need permission for usually) theyll have to use other methods.. even more expensive methods. So not as much ZP is bought compared to USA, Canada, UK etc etc.

As for the server.... from what I understand... Smilegate had always intended to service the world. All of Asia was sorted. NA was sorted, so was the UK. Russia, and now the rest of Europe. Only SA and Australia/New Zealand are left (Assuming they are thinking about them... they can technically play CF PH).
SA was always going to get a server.. when and with who wasnt decided until now.
4. Thats nothing different to anywhere else. Anyone can access more than one computer easily. Especially in Brazil where Internet Cafes are popular. What you said there was true.. but not specifically only for Brazil.
I read this and had to share my view on this thread.
All of this was properly researched and I do have a few Brazilian friends. -
