Gamma resets itself

So, by the time i got a problem (which just occured after a game.) that my Gamma is resetting itself back to fifty when i start and end a game. Someone with the same problem and/or someone that can tell me how to fix this?

Hit the home and end buttons when you're in the game. it's a shortcut key allowing you to change it in-game...

Another thing, have you deleted any crossfire files?

So therefore thats just a workaround is it? - Is this issue a known problem?

I didnt delete any crossfire files.

yeah it's a workaround. I usually do it every time I join a GM since I can get in the game faster and if I come in just watching my team, I can quickly change my gamma with the shortcut keys (home & end) and be ready to kill for the next round.

It's not a really popular issue but I have found out that if you delete, hidden or possibly move a folder called "Cross Fire" from "My Documents" there could be a problem.. That folder has a few files that are neccessary to save replays and system settings. Any tamporing with this folder and it's contents can result to settings being brought back to default as well as un-saved replays.
