SMG suggestion; MP 40

I know that this has been suggest a lot recently, but I'm trying to make this suggestion more refined so that it will justify anything about to gun to make it fair, or a good gun to add to the game.
Now to stop the flamers...
For all of those people that say "We don't need any more WWII guns/old guns". All I can say is "Can you count? All we have is the: Thomson submachine gun, Winchester shotgun, and M1896 Mauser pistol."
And for all who say "Overpowered for SMGs". Let me break this down for you you basic algebra. (Sorry for using Frecklez's shtick)
Thomson=MP 40
Why?
Because the thomson has a high rate of fire, the MP 40 has a lower rate of fire. The thomson has less power, the MP 40 has more power. The thomson has more ammo, The MP 40 has less ammo, the Thomson is less accurate, the MP 40 is more accurate.
And to stop stupid trolls. THIS GUN IS NOT A NOOB CANNON, DUE TO IT NOT HAVING A RATE OF FIRE TO SUPPORT THE NAME.

the mp40 has a really low fire rate for a smg, it would lose even to the slowest of the SMG's.
also it's power shouldn't really be higher than the thompson since it uses 9x19mm parabellum, turning it into just another low RoF and low power SMG.
it wouldn't really be overpowered, but rather underpowered and not deserving the spot on a GP crate

-smaller recoil
-bigger range
-smaller damage drop at distance

it is as slow as the MP40 in COD world at war DS
The MP 40 is slow, but it compensated with lighter frame and higher power. -
