  • Most of the blue screen errors are caused by hardware related problems and system driver problems. So no, don't "format your comp", because it probably wouldn't do anything.

Unfortunately, you might have to obtain more information so we can know whats going on with your computer.

1)Try downloading a program called "Hijackthis" (type it in on Google) and having it compile a full system report for you.
    2) Scan your computer with your security program and get rid of any viruses/crap that's in it.
    3) Follow my generic instructions below:

Utilize the program CCleaner to uninstall crossfire, and clean out the registry of its existence.

Delete the Crossfire Folder in MyDocuments.
Delete the Z8games Folder in C:\ProgramsandFiles(x86) - or just C:\ProgramsandFiles

    [Optional]
Find Run.exe on your computer - RUN.
    Type in: msconfig
Select the Services Tab, check "Hide all Microsoft Services", everything that appears in the list needs to be unchecked.
Now select the Startup Tab and uncheck everything.
Next, select Apply and click ok. Restart the computer.
    Restart The Computer.

    Turn off all AntiVirus/the Firewall.

Download a new Install Client from Z8games, install the game. Run it as Administrator.

PS: What kind of computer system are you running? Is it even adequate to run crossfire off of?
  • My computer has about 2gig's of ram I minized once and check what my computer usage was at when running crossfire. It was about 60 percent, and I have a constant 110 - 130 fps.

I noticed now if I try to play crossfire after send error report comes up. A BSOD comes up right after.

I noticed my tower is pretty hot I wonder if its a overheating issue? I'll try those steps you gave me in a bit thanks.
  • That's because of the temperature of the computer.
Use SpeedFan to make them 100% functional.
