Windows 7 HELP please

right click on the crossfire shortcut, then go to properties. Switch to the compatibility tab.

There you should see a "priviledge level", and it has "Run this program as an administrator" with a checkbox.

Make sure then checkbox is checked, and then hit apply and then OK.

try running crossfire again, if that doesn't work restart your computer and try it again.

if that doesn't work, it says "compatibility mode" in that same place that you went to in the properties.

You want to check the compatibility mode checkbox where it says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

and then select "windows XP service pack 3"

hit apply and then OK







if that doesn't work, try restarting your computer and trying it again.


If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall, and then before you try opening crossfire after you reinstall it, make sure you've:


1. Checked off "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and selected "windows XP service pack 3"

2. checked off "Run this program as an administrator"

always make sure to press apply and then OK.


Try everything here and then tell me what made it work if anything
