oh those are only concept art, not actual gameplay ;x
but i think the new gameplay will still look dated compared to the newer games, ubt will look way better than the actual graphics from CF, wo, i assume it will be CS source-ish :x

here scroll down till you see some pics from the game, those are the concept art

Those aren't new stop trying to confuse people. But they look really cool.ipod's cannot show you such epicness contained in one pic xD
No Doubt. -
hmm, but what if it starts using a custom anti-cheat?
that will totally supress the cheaters outbreaks? =o
Then it may last for years longer, also a anti hack doesn't need to suppress all hacks either it just need to be updated regular to stop the outbreaks reaching epic proportions, nobody expects an hack free game.
The main problems that need to be overcome are hacking, lagging, kicking and continuing to offer good content patches to keep people interested.
Honestly though this is a aging game graphics wise/engine wise when compared to others, and although I love CF's simplicity it may have to move on or die eventually. -
I really can't see it going anywhere to be brutally honest.......I can name off 20 people pretty easily who have stopped playing in the past 2 months, and tons more who are really really inactive. As always, we all know where the h@ckers come from - South America, Turkey mostly. Z8 have the rights to CF-SA, if I was z8 i'd get a separate version also run by z8 for it and IP ban NA's/EU's from that and IP ban SA's/EU's from the current NA version. We all can see the amount of zp crap BR's run around with, having a BR Version would bring in quite a bit of income.
I can't imagine the NA side bringing in much money by buying Tiger-Heads, so I think z8 should look more to the competitive side by getting segregated servers, MAJOR advertising [try work something out with steam possibly?] and try to get more leagues with better prizes. Competitions DO bring in money.
However, as much as I'd like to believe this game could go somewhere - we all know it isnt. I think there'll still be some spark left in the Pub side, but eventually people will get bored and move onto to new games and CrossFire will eventually be forgotten. The competitive side will still hold a small bit of action as it will still probably be invited to major international lan's since the Asian versions are thriving. However, I don't think the activity/quality of the teams will be as good - as we can all see the standard has been depreciating for quite some time. -

hmm, a new CF is already announced, the cf 2.0, that i think will be an engine upgrade to something as good as source to keep the simplicity but give us something nice to look at
and well, the patches should've always contain one free piece of equipment xD -

We are already playing Cross Fire 2.0. -
I don't think this game is just going to go away.. you'd be foolish to think that. Personally I think this game will change hands one more time OR a new anti-cheat will be put in to place.
If this game is going to grow and lose its reputation as a cheater game.. z8 needs to raise hell (start flipping tables and chairs) at smilegate and get them to start backing them in getting rid of xtarp or getting SOMETHING done as far as the cheating is concerned.
But the best thing for this game is to get this backed by steam. -
So, i was thinking, CF is a pretty popular game, and the CF population will prob stay on the game for a long time, even with the dated graphics.
What do you think that will happen with cf?
-it will get an engine upgrade to support better graphics and will continue on as a forever existing game
or
-will slowly fade on the shadows of prettier newer games and then will die silently.
or
-will continue as it is and will survive forever based on people with low-end computers, but the next big population won't be based on bee errs invading the game, but from african kids who got their newly acquired computers and cabled internet.
or
-will die quickly on a big cheater outbreak.
???
- Shadows of New game
It kind of already is. I mean, This year is all-out shadow; MW3 vs BF3? who wouldn't see that?
- Game meets its end
This game eventually will meet its end; at least for this version. Every game will meet its end soon enough, but may hold its chance of being a classic. Counter-Strike Source, is one of them; It's old but still is one of the most Famous FPS games out there. This being a replica, it's hard to make it end fast.
- Hacker Outbreak
In theory, every game has its hackers. It's not going to end, since coders usually find the loophole to most games. The only truth is to try to accept the fact that there are always going to be hackers in a game to a certain extent.
+ Low-End Users
Technology evolves very fast. It's likely that the low-end economical users of technology are going to play this game since it's fairly easy to get a 5GB flash drive at Wal-mart for about $8 or so.
All-In-All : CF will stay the same. It may not be the same here, but CF china remains to be one of the more famous games in the FPS type. -

Cf china is popular because it is connected with Tencent. Tencent is one of the largest company in china. Almost everybody that owns a computer have a QQ number which is like the username of crossfire login. -
