low ping bad reg, anything have to do with rig setting ?
hi guys.. i am experience really bad REG after i reinstall my OS.
my RIG:
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
I7 950 quad core
GTX 460 1gb
6gb 1600 rams
Asus sabertooth x58 mobo.
FPS at 200 with 16 players ,any map,
all drivers updated. n my ping it;s around 50 . .
but my 50% of my shot didn't REG after new OS install.
so i am wondering is there anything to do with windows setting, or internet setting?
or maybe windows XP can do better with Crossfire Gaming? or maybe anything have to do with the game running contends ? i heared someone told me that CF is running better with 2 core instead.
anyone know anything, please comment ur exprience.
thx

Nope, with all the laggers and SA people that are NOT supposed to play on NA CF...the reg would be terrible.
But, even with good ping, it would still be bad... -

yea.. but even if i play with low pingers.. still regs bad.. like 50% of my shots didn't reg, unless standing still..
for example, opponents going left n right, on my screen ,my crosshair turned red, n bloods split out , but when i died ,shows no damage to them, n i even asked the oponents, n comfirmed no damage at all... especially when someone it's running backwards. . . -

mood had been so bad these days.. n cant eat well these days..
terrible mood yesterday.. n the first day recived a nagative KDR..
like u implied, if u played fine before on that rig, then its nt the rig...if the game worked better before, probably not the game...and yeah, mood can affect play quite drastically... -
I have the same reg issues as well... I headshot people and it doesn't reg, I shoot ghosts and they don't get knocked back or any damage at all although they're running in a straight line, I get killed by a knife from 5 feet away and so-on.... Once that other mode comes out where there's no humans to worry about, that will probably be the only mode I'll play in..

It's in your head
Or your connection has some problems....
Like it sends packages filled with date to the server that you shot someone...
But it never could get there because you have bad connection
Your ping maybe low.. but the connection quality sucks and it sends half the packages it should for that to happen would be rare I think
Try reinstalling your network driver download like a older version? of your network driver and maybe that will work... -

that's what i was thinking, maybe i will buy a deticate network card. such a killer network gaming card?
i did experiencing the lag with my cable inetnet connection, sometimes i see 40MB down, but most of the time stay around 20MB during day time, n peak times.
but upload is terrible, only 0.75mb up.. -
or maybe is there anything have to do with the windows connection setting? or anything have to do with TCP/IP with crossfire back doors or something like that?
i think i remember someone posted a thread or change some backdoor TCP or IP setting ,to get better connecting with crossfire server.. (but i am not so sure )
