Gaming Laptops
My current computer blows! I currently get 20 fps in a 8v8, 30-35 fps in a 5v5, and 60-75 fps in a 1v1. I can't alt tab or play on windows screen because it will make cf crash
.
I don't know much bout computers, but the pc im using atm has 1 ram and Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz (i just copy and pasted this off of my computer properties :P )
So, I just need need help finding a good gaming laptop thats under $1000. Any help would be nice and i thank you in advance

Uhh, If you live near a bestbuy or future-shop, Check out the Alienware series. There laptops are great! I think they come in i5 processors, and like 4GB of ram, and a deecent video card. Check it out, I think there around $800-900 not sure.

I already play on 800x600 and i turned off blood and all those texture stuff, and im also playing on low texture..yet i still get 35 fps in 5v5
wooden pc FTW!
And yes, I will be playing other fps shooters as well. I heard that there was a new cs coming out or soemthing. Will this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834214274&cm_sp=Pers_ProductSimilar-_-34-214-274_2_AG-_-34-115-819 handle it?
I am basiclly loking for a laptop that is under $1000 and can get 100+ fps in cf and a decent fps in basiclly any other fps shooters, such as ava or css. It would also be great if the laptop can get a decent fps while recording with fraps.
I have about 2-3 months till i can save up $1000, so please keep all the suggestions coming! thanks in advance

That one is faster but personally I'd go with the Qosmio for its 3 inch bigger screen.
Your choice -

Is there any similar laptops but under $1000?
Similiar to the Qosmio? No.
You might be able to find one slightly cheaper on ebay or other sites if you look hard enough. -

Both of those would get well over 60+ fps in 8v8s. The first one you mentioned would do pretty good with the newest released games as well I recommend you get that if you want to lower your budget. -

is that 60+ fps on high settings? will the 2nd one work well with newer games? such as AVA or anyother new fps shooters? cuz i was thinking of getting the 2nd one and spending the left over cash on a new keyboard/mouse.

Yeah 60+ max settings. I'm not a computer tech wiz but I think that the 2nd one could get around 40-50 fps on max settings on AVA. If you lowered the quality on a few things you could probably reach 60+ with not the best, but still good looking graphics. -

Is this worth getting? : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230111
It looks pretty good for a laptop thats under 1 grand, but it is recertified. Ive never bought a recertified computer, so idk if i should risk it or not.
Any thoughts?
