Okay these hackers have to go
okay im pretty sure there are tons of Cross Fire players would will agree with me on this. Z8 needs to crack down on these hackers I have played 109 games today and in almost every room there are 2-5 hackers. I mean this is unacceptable I get on to play, have fun, and socialize. Not to be ran out of ever room i join because its impossible to get out of the spawn or the hackers are taking all the kills. There are a few ideas ive had and would like to share...
1) Maybe a week maintence that works to stop hackers 1-2 hours when there arent alot of players on. In my opinion this would work as i have seen it work in other games featured on Aeriagames.com.
2) Maybe putting a few more restrictions on the game. I know it would upset a few people and im not talking about ip restrictions. I mean something like 1 account per ip address or along that lines.
Im sure there are other players out there who have good ideas. Feel free to add them and made Z8 will find some they like and use them.

I like that 1 account an IP adress. Only problem with it though is that jerks will use some kind of IP adress changer to keep on hacking throughout the game. What they need to do is make the hacking sites charge so much for the VIP stuff that it would be impossible (at least for normal people) to buy them. That would possibly weed out 65 percent of the crossfire hacking population.

Weekly Maintenance Wouldn't Work, Z8Games Isn't Going To Waste The Time And Money To Put The Servers Down And Recompile CShell Just To Change The Addresses. Plus, It's Super Easy Just To Get An Address's Signature And Then It's Just A Matter Of Running The Game.

They need to add a report player option in game (right after a match would be nice after you save replays). Also don't make me remember a whole list of names with all their funny characters... gimme a drop-down menu of like the last 100 people I've played with to select the hacker.
Finally after I report them, don't let them linger around for a month or two still pulling their crap and ruining games for legitimate players.
Oh yeah and let us kick hackers from MM/HM and let teammates run through each other so that getting blocked nonsense stops. -
XTrap is a revolution in game protection, those that don't like XTrap or say there is a problem with the game security are ungrateful and don't appreciate XTrap's awesomeness.
I ask you you rather we have GameGuard or have Crossfire how it is today? Personally I would want Crossfire to be put in a time capsule with today's date on it.
XTrap patches weekly and has been doing for some time, in fact it up dated only a few days ago.
Therefore I have no idea why you say "Okay these hackers have to go" because I ask what hackers? And yes the very rarely an occasional hacker might come along but these small issues will be resolved by XTrap.
Can a mod please close this thread as all the relevant answers have now been given. -

Okay are you blind or something Xtrap is a big failure just like you. Any one can see that this game is over run by losers who dont know how to game. You can throw your lot in with them if you want but in the end Xtrap is worthless and does nothing. -

You know what the solution is? Find a better community. Right now people in game will kick a legitimate player on their team if he kills four players in a row, but those same people will not kick an obvious cheat on their team. I've been in some 13 round GM matches where we put someone up for kick 8 times straight who was shooting through the walls. And I've had some of those same games where I get kicked after we finally get rid of the cheater because I was "walling" by killing some charging ghosts. That, right there, is why people cheat. If they knew they'd be kicked without question from every game they wandered in on, they would not have the incentive. But when their rate of being kicked is the same if they cheat or don't cheat, then there is no good reason for them to stop. -

X-trap is not a failure. GameGaurd had 10x more hacks back then. If you think x-trap fails go code a better AC then come back, You need to learn no matter how GOOD the AC is codders WILL find a way to get around it, They have alot of time on there hands. -
it's got nothing to do with Xtrap. it's all g4box, n lots of coding have to do with this game. client side or server side..
too many rez files on clients side, means easier for hackers to code, imagine, how is possible for 1 shot kill , speed hak if everything it's code it to be in server side?
there it's never any 1 shot kill or speeders in CF CN.
they r all server side there, reg it's way better than here.
but if Z8 do it just like them, that will make all those laggers impossible to play. .
so ,it's a bussiness, they looking to grab money.. in the end, u still playing this hackers ruined game, y complain? dumb @$$ kids still purchase ZP for those ****ty @$$ gun they putted in ZP crates.
if ya all NA people stop buying ZP, they will fix the problem right away..
so stop crying, action ..
or just live with it.. -
just have to kick them, we can do alot just by kicking, i like to try and join the other side if i have a clan mate in the room, one on each side and you can atleast put a vote in . just really hard to do in mission games cause everyone just wants to get those done fast it seems

Most hackers get free hacks, only about 5-10% of the hackers in Crossfire use VIP hacks. They would probably buy ZP instead of hacking as most hackers are all about the looks. -

Exactly dude 1 account per ip would just kill this game and they would be making less Think about it there are 30 year olds playing this game and they have kids -
If you want to try out new guns, There's this thing called the "shooting range". It lets you try out guns with an infinite amount of ammo, (thus letting you see the recoil, accuracy, and ROF on the gun. The only thing it doesn't do is let you see how much damage it does.) which is right in the Item Shop.
The button for the shooting range lightens as you click on the gun you want to try out, under your character near the bottom-left. I think it's also pink, so it's very clear to see it.

Dude me not stupid me know i go to shooting range. But i actually want to use it on actual people and not buy unworthy guns on my main. -
Alright, I'll be a nice guy and fully explain this for you.
Z8Games really doesn't patch cheats at all. Sure, they're the ones who are responsible for some of the cheats being fixed, but they don't manually go into the game and fix cheats. Most of the time, they're just the ones responsible for sending the information to the real anti-cheat, XTrap.
XTrap is an anti-cheat, which is based out of Korea. It's been with us ever since Gameguard was fired because they failed to patch hacks efficiently. XTrap patches tons of times [as far as I know, it was over 6 times in the month of August]. They work hard, it's just the community that doesn't know. Let's face it, not everything can be told to the community, some of the information has to stay confidential.
XTrap has been patching hacks non-stop. I personally set out to talk to some cheat developers [note: I don't cheat because of that fact, I was just talking to them] and they say that they've been working around the clock to keep their specific cheat usable. Let's just say all of the cheat developers are working harder than XTrap because of how efficient XTrap is working.
As for weekly maintenances, maintenances are generally done to do something such as run server checks, perform bug fixes, perform glitch fixes, and run little tests, such as the one ran very recently to run a test in preparation for the next patch.
IP Restrictions were put in originally to keep certain versions of Cross Fire exclusive. Every version had to implement IP Restrictions to areas in which they did not have licenses to if another version had licenses to implement servers there. That means some countries, such as Egypt weren't blocked. Nobody has the license to put a server in Egypt within the CF Versions. Brazil wasn't blocked because of the simple fact that G4Box now has a license for South America.
As for one person per IP gaming, that wouldn't be logical. What's the point of doing that? We have IP bans for cheaters, that usually do go into effect. It's just the cheaters tend to change their IPs and come back. There's nothing that helps the reporting team determine that "x" player is definitely "y" player. It's all based on gut. It will most likely not be implemented.
Realize if Gameguard works for another game, it's not guaranteed that it will work well for us. Gameguard was working for us, and we had purchased most of their services. Turned out in utter failure. Patches every 2 months or so. -
