What is the deserter's penalty?
Whenever you leave a game it threatens you with a "penalty". What is this penalty? Does it have something to do with your "honour" status? Because mine's been stuck at "average" permanantly, no matter how often I leave games.
Also, when does this penalty apply? If I'm kicked, does it apply? If my internet connection is severed (NOT A LAG OUT, I MEAN CABLE BEING PULLED OUT)? Does it apply if the game kicks me for use of "hack tool" (even though I never haack, it always seems to give me that stupid error for some reason, I am not a hacker!!).

The only real penalty is shame... And you lose the XP and GP for that match. -
Maybe it reduces your exp and gp bounty from game? Or maybe it's a feature that was never implemented, like all the strange sound files in the game directory (seriously, go to the game folder on your hard drive, then go to the "rez" folder there, there's some pretty wierd stuff there).

Honor currently serves no purpose in game.
It affects nothing and no one will blame you for quiting alot of games due the ammount of hackers around.
Team kills only happen from grenades and can only do about 20 damage to a teammate so their all accidental usually.
Several mods have said if honor ever gets used for anything everyone's honor will be reset.
