Tired of playing against Cheaters?

I am really sick of the hackers in this game. I know Z8 is almost powerless to do anything about it simply because of manpower. It is 5 mods vs like 5,000 people developing ways to cheat.

What I propose is clan community that I can moderate to keep the hackers out. I like playing Crossfire enough to invest the time to moderate a community such as this. I will develop an application, with enough interest, that will involve real name , location, etc. to join. Info will be verified before someone can join. This clan community will have passworded matches (changed on a dialy basis) and if someone is found to be hack, they will be banned from the clan.

If we (the legit players) want to have fair matches, this is the only way I see this happening in the near future. We will have to take the steps to say NO to hackers. Z8 is not able to manage it, so we need to.

If interested, please respond to this post, so I may measure how many could be assembled to get this going! Let's say NOOOO to hackers!!

I have Ventrilo voice server for the proposed clan and will have clan Email in place. I would love to find 200 legit players that will play on regular basis.

so basically you want to verify a person first? how would you do that? should people send in ID cards and Utility bill copies? seems not so realistic to me

It is not that hard to verify basic facts about a person on the internet. If you are not interested, that is fine - keep playing with all the hackers. Don't criticize an effort to play legit games with legit players!

Only one guy interested so far? It may be too late for this game. The hackers have taken over and it is lost forever for the legit players. This was my last effort to keep playing a good FPS with legit players. I made it all the way to Major before retiring because of Z8's inability to control the hackers! I guess that is something. What a waste of money!

Thanks Z8 for putting out a product with no ability to maintain the quality play!

Nowadays , most people have online identities that can be verifed via Email, other Online activities, My Space, etc.. It will not be 100%, but careful moderation of gameplay can be 100%. If they are found to be hak - they are gone and hopefully some measure to prevent them rejoining under another id can be performed.

I am currently looking to set-up website , ventrilo, and Email address system, for this community clan. I will post here when it is up and running. The webiste will involve a simple application with basic information and some measure of verification can be performed from this.

I am looking to set-up a panel of LT to vote on questionable players, so it would not be a dictatorship!

It will not be perfect but it will be much better than what is in place now!

I will do some heavy recruiting once things are set-up. Let's say NOOOOOOOO to hackers and continue to play the game we enjoy!
