i tend to disagree

logitech products suckz now burn me and my house while screaming a purifying chantic over my dead burnt corpse xD
@chimpz
yeh, i think he should get a 5.1 system with the 5.1 headset, would be a great combo, but if he doesn't wants to upgrade his system, i think the HD 280 PRO's are the best headphones price/advantages wise =o
altough he wants a mic, he can get one for less than 5 bucks over every single goddamm hardware store all over the world xD
Don't know it's my first Logitec headset and I have been using it for a couple of months now and I still love it
I will try more headsets out after i won the jackpot or got more money to spend

nah, logitec's are fine, just make sure they won't break, my friend had one that had the right earcup amp fading out with the time, so, you gotta be careful with it's wire joints.
but if you don't mind having no mic to scream over little kids on games you should go to sennheiser or AKG or Shure, they got some nice headsets for less than 150 bucks.
try these:
-sennheiser hd 280 pro
-shure srh 440
-akg 271 mkii -

Do you work for sennheiser
You always say to people get a sennheiser... no matter what.
I see I see a spy from sennheiser here on the forums trying to let kids steal there parents creditcard to get sennheiser's headsets
Do I get a prize for unmasking you? like a free sennheiser hd 280 pro headset
anyway now back to real life.....I will try a sennheiser when my logitec breaks xD
But I will be needing a mic with that because I wanna scream to kids

Logitech mic for 10 bucks at walmart with a long arse cord that wraps around my computer desk.SamuraiMoMo wrote: »anyway now back to real life.....I will try a sennheiser when my logitec breaks xD

Meh. Many people that i know that don't use Sound EQ's say the can't PP well with the Logitech G35's. I was recommended many times to buy the Steel Series Siberia v2. I've seen ppl using that headphone killing me from GR spawn while i'm all the way in office. Also like everyone says it also depends on your sound card as well. CJ recommends X-fi soundcard. So to me if you want to be god like or good at GM you will need to buy both good headphones and a good soundcard.

sennheiser 280 pro's have a good price for what you got, but the cup shape is kinda odd, so it's not the best to stay with for like, 5 hours, but it's outstanding how they could make such a good headset for 100 bucks only =o
but do not get me wrong, there are other good headset's within that price range from sony/akg/shure too, and even other brands idr now :]
for the mic problem, there is the HMD series -

oh, steelseries have good headsets too, i got a siberia v2 myself
but meh, i'd still use my sennheiser/turtle beaches if they weren't destroyed by my dogs :c
they love wires >.< -

i haz credist for everyone who buys a sennheiser from me
nahhh jk, it's just i like the brand, they offer you nice products :]
check out akg, shure, sony, steelseries and eventually turtle beach too, they've got good prices for headsets designed for gaming plataforms =o -

I'd just go with logitech g35, those sennheiser things because my friend has used them before.., steelseries siberia, or skullcandy ink'ds!
(3.0 gm kd with no eq and onboard sound.)
skullcandies look to bright IMO, but they're kinda stylish... i think they should've have a make your own section on the site
and the logitech g35 is a sure go if you have a low budget

The bass of skullcandy ink'ds tickle my ears.
I'd choose no other cheap earbuds over them. -

Also have friends who use them as well.
i cant believe this guy actually sounds serious...
but ya invest in a good sound card with cheap skullcandys -

hmm... i think skullcandies are ok, tough they're really hard to find here on brazil =o
i would have to travel to one of the bigger cities to get mah hands over them ;c -

Order them online.
If you want, I can send u mine
Do you play ghostmode? Oo -
im guessing the OP really doesn't care about the cost... so if ur not worried about the money here are two that cost about $300 bucks... even though steel series would work fine...
Sennheiser

get something pro, like the sennheiser HD 280 pro or the Shure SRH-440 .-.
IMO, if you have the pants for, get the sennheiser HD 800
Meh... that would be seriously overkill, you don't need them to get kicked at GM =p
And the earcups look opened, better get a closed ones like the HD 280 or the HD 428 (what I'm using)
Partial ambient noise blocking means more sound details with less volume, your eardrums will appreciate it
