Black screen when in game

I recently downloaded CF on my old Windows XP PC. I've played it on it a few months ago and I didn't have any issues. I can go in game, all the sounds work and the HUD features also come up like the life, the rectile and the map. As for the graphics though, it's just a black screen. Not sure why this happens, I've tried a few solutions which have failed. Some help would be appreciated. Cheers.
It has a 3.2 ghz Pentium 4 CPU with 512MB of RAM. It's fairly slow loading up but I don't think it's a CPU or RAM issue...

  • Hi, I was having the same trouble a while back. finally I stopped using explorer and went to Mozilla FireFox, it turns out that XP is no longer being supported by explorer. Microsofts way of making people update to windows 7. so try instaling firefox and removing explorer. you can re instal explorer after. It may also help to download Iobitgamebooster 2, it shuts down un needed programs and frees up ram to speed up your game play, it is NOT a hack tool!!!
it all so has a great game defrag that helps the game run well. Good luck, I hope this helps.
