When I click start on the launcher nothing happens help please

Hey when i click start on the launcher the launcher shuts off and nothing happens,ive reinstalled,rebooted,turned off all my firewall and im really stuck now. i used to play this game a long time ago and i want to get back into it.

I think the last post touched on the issue. If you had it installed and then didn't play for a while, there may be so many updates since then that it can't continue.

A good suggestion would be to uninstall the game from the control panel, download it from the download link above, delete the crossfire folder in your program files, and then reinstall.

i did all that it didnt work then i tried according how to uninstall it in a topic called common erros or something like that and it still didnt work. ive not changed my computer or os or anything since i last played so i cant understand it

Yup

Access your Cross Fire folder and instead of launching the CF_G4BOX file simply start the "patcher_cf" one.

Thanks but i went into the crossfire folder and there was no patcher-cf file. it cant be cos it didnt install because ive reinstalled it like 3 times

other guy i meant to say the name of but forgot it
i dunno about xp but i played before mutation or anything like that.

ok i looked around other fold3ers for patcher cf and found it in downloads, started it and it gave me a weird language so i cut and paste it into the crossfire folder and its now patching, illl do another post with if it works after this or not.
