shotguns prize people with an accurate aim, since aiming for the center of mass from a player will most likely deliver a one hit kill, while the SMG can keep up with a not so good aim.
So, depends too much on your style, if you like it fast, do shotguns, if you cannot aim, try the SMG's :] -

totally wrong, to kill with shotgun you must be epic near from the enemy, if far you get like 2 dmg or so ^^ smg like m12s kill in 1 sec. if near and gives also good dmg from far.

the shotguns have a nice range, i can kill a guy from about 15m away with the spas-12, it only takes 2 shots .-.
but the SMG's represent the transition in between extreme close range towards medium rage, it can perform at close range, but most likely won't have the best performance in both cases, since shotguns can take SMG's at extreme close range and AR's can take out SMG's at medium range with ease .-. -

i am talking about REAL SMG's, not the m12s, wich is a totally separated case. :rolleyes:

it has the range of a friggin assault rifle mang ._.
and i dun have the spas-12 in this account, agree if i use the dual desp's and choose the map?
i also have to solve some things first, gimme about an hour or so, filling papers is a pain in the ass ya kno dude? >.> -
