What the Hell Happened? - take notice
Good Afternoon Everyone,
I've just gotten back from a 3 month vacation, my first in 2 years of playing crossfire.
I have a huge concern for the amount of hacking actual happening within the game. Before I left it was starting to get annoying and I understand you can't stop them all but people promoted kicking; said, individuals. Now nobody seems to care. For that matter mostly every room you join to play there's at least someone speed hacking, wall hacking, 360's with their fancy aimbot skills. It has gotten to the point of questioning why I'm even going to continue to play. I can tell the difference between someone who plays Pro and someone who hacks. I've never been one to ever complain or whine either. It's actually gotten so bad I know people who've played the game longer than myself and just started playing who won't play anymore. It's bad enough you have to contend trying to kill people with 250+ pings in game.
I've spent over $400 of my hard earned cash towards Z8 and it's affiliates over the last year and this is what I'm getting in return for my money? Why don't we have a better system in place to Permanently ban players who are hacking? Why doesn't Crossfire have a system implemented that is updated on a daily or weekly basis such as your anti-virus system? The amount of money made from ZP and other ventures surely is enough to get this GAME, back to the way it was. Fun. It's gotten to far OUT of Control.

Z8games is hosting the game and accountable for the content, but not for the Anti-hack shield. There using X-trap (I think ...) and pay for the license to use it for ther own game. So write this to X-trap. -

i have also heard that Cross Fire CN has a daily auto ban system and auto update on hacks. If this is true, why doesn't this Cross Fire company do the same? -
Here's the breakdown.
XTrap is detecting tons of cheats, and working on completely blocking them from use in game. They've been working over time. It's summer for most schoolkids, meaning they have more time to cheat, and more time to make the cheats. XTrap always is working on a new patch.
As for the daily / weekly patches. They do have very frequent patches that pick up tons of cheats. I barely see anymore shoot through wall cheaters. Now it's only the old pesky cheats such as aimbots and speed hacks. No more shooting through wall cheaters means they're doing their work. Hacks will never be destroyed on any game permanently, just slowed down. As long as there's someone who wants to make a cheat and has the knowledge to do so, it's up to XTrap to protect us from them.
The autoban system is now permanent banning from what I know. Also, any report found to be a good report and the player reported is found cheating, is permanently banned, and his or her IP is logged, to find out who just made alts.
As for the ping issue, a South American server is coming soon, just keep your heads up for that. -

They gain money like hell, theres tons of people buying ZP.
And for that money they probably eat pizza and get drunk at work.
Cause the server stability has gotten worse, the ammount of people with crap ping has raised.
And the ammount of hackers went from seeing one rarely to - omg I just meet 1k hackers today must be a lucky day for me. since the regular ammount of hackers you meet in, around 10games total is 70.
Great job Z8, if you care'd at all that would even make a difference since you dont care at all atm.
Oh and don't tell me to report cause I do that often, and yet a week later I see them on the same account.. one month passes HOLY CRAP theres the guy I reported 5 times WITH A FREAKING REPLAY still hacking around on the same account.
And /care I see majors and colonels or w.e that rank is called from even the top10 CF clans hacking, and those people get reported often.
Unless they are all just farmers who hack when they play public.

3. Realize you're completely over exaggerating. I played over 100 games yesterday [finally finished lifeguarding] and ran into about 8 cheaters max, who were kicked immediately. I have no idea where half this community plays, but I barely see cheaters
4. Hack reports take a while to get looked at, because of the sheer volume of reports that Z8Games receives on a daily basis. You try reading through thousands of tickets a day; not the easiest thing to do.
5. The top 10 CF Rankings list is full of farmers. If they decide to cheat, just report them; not very hard.
Oh, and ..

I play every day, for over 50 games. Barely see cheaters. Could be that I'm playing in the quote unquote competitive channel, and you play in any channel you want. I do missions every day in any channel I please, I'm usually the one that gets called cheater. -

I'm good friends with people that know that information. Not very hard to keep count as well, I know for a fact that they updated twice within the second week of August, and once again just a little after that.
Trust me, it's over 5; not once every 2 months. -

And he is right, Xtrap have updated around 5 times this month. He's also right that there aren't that many hackers in the game. Actually, a few months ago I bet there were twice as many hackers as there are now.Try Crossfire EU, I think the closed beta will come soon.
Every game will have hackers in it, it is not going to be a safe haven where everyone is going to be legit and be nice to each other. -

I want to know what planet your playing on. I played 50 games on Saturday and Sunday and in all cases there were at least one, in most cases up to 5 cheats in each game.
There are more cheats than hones players.

maybe at 40 and 2 you are a cheat, I have seen a lot of so called Pros that were noting more than cheats, There is cheating from the newest player to the people playing on international competition. Oh they use alternate accounts, but they still cheat.

i think theres a post were saiden explains the hack system very well so people dont cry on why we dont get a better anti hack system. or maybe it was a mod.
But the thing is he said that X-Trap was the best anti-hack ystem for Crossfire.
and yeah adam youll just have to play in e8 because there are less hackers there.

Please stop posting you have no idea of statistics, and there really isn't a ton of cool stuff. The guns you can get only through ZP are more like trophies for me than anything else, I use GP Guns as my main. Good morning, afternoon and goodnight. -

Jihad is major trolling :P for your information, I believe that ESLHi is NOT a company man, but worked on graphics for CF back in the day, an "original player" if i may. You can read all of this is his Project Android, (which is amazing by the way, havent checked if its finished yet xD) and thus is friends with most, if not all of the MODS and maybe GMs of the game. He would be one of those high levels that actually earned it instead of farming, and is then able to literally ra.pe us kids a new hole with his hacker like ability to aim, which gets him kicked all the time. What he says is true, in the last week or so before school started, i noticed barely any hackers anymore, with only a few aimbots (who sucked anyways). XTrap has been patching much more than usual from what i can gather in my limited knowledge of average player haha, so just stop trolling and play in a real room, not the ones where there are obviously hackers. Another tip that will help you avoid 99% of hackers is to check the profiles of every suspicious player in the room, which takes a maximum of 2 minutes. THEN, when you see that smiley face trainee whos averaging 12 kills per death, you can FIND ANOTHER ROOM. its not that hard bro
