Patcher

I just got a new laptop with windows 7, and wanted to play crossfire.

I downloaded it, started it up. The patched went through downloaded then closed. Xtrap didn't open in the corner.

When I open the g4_box it opens fine, I click start that patcher comes up momentarily, closes, and nothing else happens.

What i've tried:
.Net framework updates, same as directX.
Running as admin
Running in compatibility modes
Running the patcher rather than the g4_box (This just doesn't open)


Fixed it, I had my anti-virus all turned off, but actually physically closing it somehow made it stop.
