my posts dont increase

its just as i said whenever i write a post the number of posts doesnt increase, i wrote around 7 posts and my number of posts is still 51, i had the same problem when i had 50 posts but after a number of posts it increased to 51, i know its not really that much of a problem but it will be nice to be upgraded from squire
