Yeah, why not.. It should be limited to teams and should be able to be turned off tho.

It should be optional in the room settings on or off.

On is obvious if it's a unfriendly 1v1 and someone can spoil the game or cheat, off if you are having a friendly match and don't mind others chatting.

This is a good idea, but I suggest they make it so that spectators can only chat with spectators, that way no cheating can be involved.

that would be kinda dumb honestly, then you could tell your friends where their opponents are, even if it was public chat only you still could tell them were the enemy is and it wouldnt matter, -1 dumb idea sorry but that is just pointless, defeats the purpose of spectating.

Last time i spectated a game was a year or so ago and you were able to communicate as a spectator i didnt know it got removed lol. I guess the spectators would say to much in game to influence the outcome like telling the players where everyone is and such.

Good Idea. In an important spectator match I can tell the other player exactly what the opposing player is doing... O_O

No then 1vs1 for example will not be fun and then the players could not concentrate.

Either way it would be pointless to not have it, majority of the crossfire community have their own voice communication server, it would also making spectating more interesting since you can interact per say with the players.

1vs1 shouldn't be taken seriously to begin with. The way I see it there's only two options why a 1v1 would come about.

- Two friends/buddies/clan mates challenge for fun
or
- One player feels he is better than another, which leads to childish bickering and then ultimately the "test" of who can pick the other player faster.

pub chat only is the best idea. And people can block chat anytime so its gonna be too much of a problem.
