Messed up Start/Announcement Screen

don´t know if this a well known issue, i looked around and couldn´t find anything

my cf startup screen looks like this

because the start button is either missing or not visible i can´t start the game. can´t TAB to id.

fresh reinstall. help much appreciated.

just start the game directly from the Crossfire folder

not sure which executable it is but try them all.

C:\Program files\Z8Games\Crossfire\ etc.

thanks. Did that (crossfire.exe) hgw messagebox error told me to close the game and try
Again, even though there was no application running in processes.
