oh, ok. That kinda is camping. -

GM is a whole other thing. -

God forbid defenders defend a position.
3 minutes is plenty of time to do what you need on either side. Kids are just impatient. If a person isn't doing awesome when they see the blinking 00:59 flashing, people start getting kicked.
Sorry, I did not understand! -
Camping isn't noob, Its just that most players don't want to WORK for their kills, or change tactics. Most players just want to run around spraying down the enemy, not realizing how stupid such a tactic is.
Camping is a way to counter rushing, being predictable, and moving in groups.
Camping isn't hard to counter, its just many rather not bother trying to learn how to play better and instead try to get the opponent to stop.
Personally, I find any player that is running around with no concern or caution deserves to be ambushed.
The players that complain about camping will also complain about flash grenades, flanking, or someone just doing better then them. Pay it no mind
Didn't you say once you play with 200 ping? At 200 ping the target may not be where your shooting at but a full 0.4-0.6 seconds ahead or about 5 feet. try shooing ahead of your target a bit. I only have reg issues if my ping or my target's starts being unstable.
Well explained. Beginning to weave an better picture of the events -

Yeah, talonblaze can be like that at times.
Basically he(she/it) is saying that defending a site in GM, SND, or EM is a type of camping.
And not camping would be to let those sites be defenseless. Allowing BL a easy win. -
Camping is part of the game but it is not something I like to do to get kills as it is boring and noob however if you are defending the bomb, a site or a position to protect others looking the opposite way then yea it is not only sound but good game sense to camp.
I just can't stand those that base their whole style on camping, I like to hunt otherwise:)
Exactly! I do not have a specific way of playing. But I like to have all options open for use.
So I do not understand the size of the QQ on these matters. Now yes, things are becoming clearer. -

Another derivation which is useful for my understanding.
If all the players get on the search for a target. The site security is compromised. And in a game mode as SnD, it is the difference between victory and defeat. -

Some ways to counter camping.
Be aware of all common hiding spots for both BL and GR.
Never run strait into the open with out looking at all possible entrances and hiding spots. (can't tell you how many times I see someone run right infront of me around a corner and not notice me)
Check hiding spots well on your way some where. 95% of the time no one is there, but if someone is you got the drop on them rather then the other way around.
If you know someone likes to hide at a certain spot, NADE it. Normal grenade or a flashbang will do.
Flank the known camper, if you know hes watching one entrance come from the one hes not watching.
And finally, avoid the area if you can't beat the camper. -
A simple rule for you:
As long as you are not breaking any rules: The more people rage at you the better you are doing.
If you don't want to make people rage at you then you cannot play Crossfire.
How to make immature kids rage:- Use any weapon
- Defend the bomb or the bomb spot
- Kill them
- Die
- Use a nade
- Have a ping (no mistake here, just have a ping)
- Run
- Don't run (for at least 500ms then you are a camper)
- Jump
- Crouch
- Join a team
- Use hacks
- Don't use hacks (yeah recently someone raged at me cause I didn't use hacks)
- Chat
- Use an item / power up
- Do what you are supposed to do

These items in particular caught my attention.
Is this serious? -

He is.
I've been kicked for...
Planting the bomb.
Defusing the bomb.
Having a low ping.
Being a lagger (how is 68 ping lag?)
Running around.
Staying still.
Using M4
Using AK
Using M9 (and winning
)
Using knife (and winning)
For "hacking"
For NOT hacking.
Speaking English.
Not having numbers in my name.
For having my name all CAPS.
I could go on... -
A mix of being serious and fooling around. But everything on that list happened to me at least once. And when I say rage then it is a complaint followed by a kick vote (successful or not, doesn't matter).Confederado wrote: »These items in particular caught my attention.

So an need not occur in the voting system reform. Should be true to its total abolition.
These reasons are becoming increasingly meaningless. I'd rather play an entire game being screwed by a hacker, but after saving and reporting. Than having a bunch of people kicking me in a room by what? What goes in their will? -

they think they rule the game just because they could pubstomp on the rookie server .-. -
Players complain about many things that are in-game. It's possible for players to camp in one area the entire game and get kills, while the other is to rush. It's completely based on the players decision.
Some people though play well by instinct think the other strategy is plainly out-of-hand and shouldn't ever be used, one being using the knife in Prison TD for sniping. If it's effective, it should be allowed to used.
Obviously if it's affecting Z8Games terms of use it's not allowed, but aside from that, it's allowed. Just the pain of the players instinct to think that the method "B" player is using shouldn't be allowed to. (ie Using knife in a all weapons allowed game, Camping) -
I think taking away the vote kick system would massively increase hacking. On the one hand you wouldn't have to fear that you will be kicked. On the other hand vote kick is the only power you have. People would start to hack as compensation.Confederado wrote: »Understood.
Still, I prefer the abolition of the voting system. From what I read, he has more of a headache than to solve.
But vote kick is mostly misused, that's right. -

I can not understand why so much debate on how to play CrossFire.
Many criticize those players who prefer to camp in one location.
Others say it should go behind enemy lines, firing. That camp is rookie stuff. But with that thought, it is also criticized as a player who spray (practice badly seen in this game, although for me, both are an strategy).
I do not play with sniper, because there is simply no way to sniper: Running, meaningless, with a sniper rifle in hand, shooting quickscoping not seem the right strategy.
And if you settle camping, you will see a huge "KILLER" for your opponent when you hit him. Denouncing his position! Outside, the players will be accused of camper!
Not need to tell me that this game has a rapid style. But I need ideas that are logical. The purpose of the CF was this, anyway? Or what happens is just an adaptation of the players?
For me, a game of this style, should allow (either the game with their maps as the players and their minds) an plurality of personal strategies (camper, spray, rush ...) that would only be subject to a teamwork (acting in clans).
He is a BR. Take a look at his location.

there is nothing wrong with camping if you feel like it although you will have to change spots after almost every kill, also you have to wait for people to enter your line of sight...
IMO the best stratagy is to find somewhere that forces your opponents to come at you one by one, and where you have the advantage of cover... that way the ods will allwas be stacked in your favour...
oh and one last thing...ThepacTIGA wrote: »Die.
