Your 5 year old actually could be a moderator, however, I can guarantee you that he wouldn't be able to do nearly as well as a job as the current ones. The moderators are most likely busy. Being a moderator is quite a bit of work and can be pretty hectic at times; I'm sure you wouldn't know about that though.
