Hack Tool Detected error is caused when someone hacks you out of the game.

No it isn't. I had this all the time were playing the game was impossible, got a new pc and it was all fixed.

Exact same case here. New machine, no hacks intended, just put off the game by the system. How do I fix this?

My pc gives htd 1.4
Then a bsod
I just restart it, then end all processes not necessary(eg infocard.exe, tmproxy.exe, explorer.exe)
Then I just manually start cf and vent.
Problem solved

I never got the error running a
Pentium 3 with 512ram

I'm currently running a
Core 2 Duo with 4GB ram

So its not about your PC specs

How come I can play all day with no errors, then
as soon as 5:45pm hits I get the error till about 12:00-1:00am
then i don't get the error again till 6:00pm

I don't know of any router settings that change at night time.

reinstalled the game today. deleting all 3 CF directories
no change.

anyone else wanna give it a shot

I don't know but is xtrap 'detecting' something a false positive? They sure aren't detecting much else.

Did you kill all un-needed processors etc? Trying turning your AV off too.
