how effective is the hacking report system & IP restrictions?
ok so ive been playing this game for like 3 days now and ive noticed the amount of cheaters is rather high, not as bad as combat arms but its getting there.
anyways, ive just reported to players for shooting through walls and one was a rather high rank lol, captain.. bit of a waste... his IGN is So[H]ard, i have the replay if anyone wants it. but yeah my question is, is this reporting system reliable or does it take months to get someone banned?
as for the IP restrictions, ive read into it and it says people from places like turkey etc cant play here no more if they make a new account but i see tons of people with TR in there name and Turkish ping ( this isn't discriminatory this is just elaborating on the topic in question), so what is the point in the IP restriction when so many people can just bypass is with an IP changer?

It's something like a mass breakout of hackers the past weeks ^^

And the IP restriction is because of some license, which they don't have in the restricted countries.
Turks are allowed to make accounts so thats why you saw some people with TR in their name i guess ;P

Hackers know right when we'll get a new patch, their hack(s) will be patched. They try to use it as long as possible. -

Actually turkey is allowed to make a new account. There is a map in the main thread about the IP restrictions where you can see which countries are IP restricted.

ah logical, the number of reports etc. well the 2 i reported were shooting through walls rofl and well this captain who was one of them happens to be a leader of his clan ha ha so unlucky for him i guess. never cheat!

yeah thats true, i have to admit though one hilarious hack ive seen, is the crouch walking one, i mean why would you make a cheat that makes you crouch walk really fast but not like a speed hack just alot faster than usual crouching lol makes no sense. i guess the creators got bored? -

Or, that was the only way to bring the speeding back.

hmm idk ive seen speed hacks it wasn't even that fast but it was like yeah while crouched the recoil is alot less and moving towards you fast while crouched rofl. i hope it gets patched but its still amusing until they start shooting you through walls ha -

the problem countries..like Brazil, egypt or turky weren't banned.
they only banned europe, and not because of the ha.cking. They banned because there is going to be a new crossfire for europe starting august 30.

yeah i heard about the European CF.
my point about the IP restrictions was that so many countries that are banned can still bypass it and play and cheat...(even though cheating isnt the reason the restrictions are there) i mean its not just turks. germans and others etc have been doing it to from what i can see. so really its the most pointless restriction ive ever seen as it seems to be run off a incredibly crude system if someone can bypass it so easily.
i mean why even implement it until its takes to much effort to bypass and people get bored. lol -

It is also for noobs who can't bhop in GM. Crouching is less visible, and at that speed you have no chance of seeing them.
