The scar light, in my opinioin, is a great weapon if you have the skills for it. I havnt found a better weapon yet, but if you can control your bursts/ sprays, the scar light is definately your best choice. good luck with the scar light =D

I personally love my scar light and would reccomend it. However, I would suggest that you give each weapon a few chances to see what fits your playing style best. Many other people would reccomend an AK47 or the M4A1 probably, as they are both good guns. Personally, I just don't really like them and find them hard to use, which is why I went with the scar light. -
A good rule of thumb is that no weapon is better than the other. It depends on the user. generally I suggest you try out these 5 weapons before making your decision. They are the most commonly used rifles in the game. And all of them are good guns.

EDIT: How is the m4 hard to use? lol.Me and the M4A1 just never got along and I have no clue why. It just didn't work out for me. -
i like the scarL, but since there are different guns for different playing styles, sometimes you have to change.
RnG = K2
countersniping = any rifle but AUG/SG/any weapon with scope/zoom
people who aim for head = aug more bullets
sprayers = scarL
these are IMO but i think its universal -
I had a SCAR Light an broke it for Anaconda crates because I hated it so much. Get an AK-47 they will never fail you and with skill you'll tear SCAR Light to the ground. In the end it depends on your play style, if you enjoy rushing an keeping up front lines the AK will serve you well. However if you prefer to be more relaxed an pick off enemys at a distance then SCAR light should be your first choice.

scar or Xm?
personely i love the scar l and the xm8 the xm8 is cool with the red dot and everything but its a useless scope.The scar has WAY less recoil than the sg552 or the aug and alot of the other guns lighly worse in power but if u can burst u will dominate. -

The scar light is a great gun for tapping.
However it sucks at spraying.
If you're a good shot, you'll do fine. -

K-2 is so awesome with HS, that even if you dont aim at the head, you will get a HS
The Spray Pattern is perfect for HS..
(Only when you aim at the chest)
Ak47 is the best
