Z8 isn't supposed to reply to hack reports. Imagine how much time that would waste.

what's there to discuss about hack reports?

It's a sticky, it's still very relevant and it gives some info on what we're doing. We can't send individual replies to every hack report, though a quick change in the message delivered to the user upon sending a hack report should be changed soon to give a better idea of what is going on.


We get endless amounts of hack reports, and tons that are false, Our auto ban system catches hundreds if not thousands of actual hackers every day in addition to the reports we do get to.


Discussing the hacking situation in endless threads here is counter productive to the community. Yes, it is discussed, but in limited threads and in intelligent discussion. Making yet another thread about "omg this hacker isn't banned" doesn't actually help.

Nor does saying "omg ______ hacks the game, everyone quick look at this youtube video and lets all rage together!"

We know that hacking exists, we know its frustrating we know you want to rage. But come to these forums to meet good people, play games, partake in the community of the game rather than making a million threads about how you hate hackers or such and such hackers etc etc etc.

There is one already that thanks you for the report etc.


This is the message that will get improved. We don't ban automatically based on a report. Otherwise anyone could get anyone in the game banned without doing anything.

Because then they would have less time to ban hackers.

there is an autoban feature but the newer hacks need to be added to the autoban system and that takes time... right now i believe there is a bypass for xtrap which is why there are alot more hackers than usual at the moment but xtrap will most probably be working on that and have a fix soon :P

It should also be known that X-Trap was recently updated against a large number of hacks.

there are random sporadic periods in cf where there are no hackers at all for a couple months, then a explosion of hacks after that. its on and off like that. not just for this game, for every game.

ir prolly wont change fast ... there slowly getting rid of hackers ... coming up wit ha bunch of new solutions. ... but they will always find way too bypass xtrap and the auto ban system.

and if they do get caught they just make a new account.

It might take a while until they patched all that hacks, but in the past there had always been some mass breakout of hacks and as they patched it we were able to play a more or less long time without hacks or at all without speed etc.
For sure there were some wallhackers(seeing through walls) but they're obviously not the problem.

im not too worried about chamers ... they can be killed cause there usually noobish .... its just the 1 hitting and walling guys that i dont like.
