having a problem with other players

How and where do I report cheaters. That will actually result in a ban of the cheater.
Lately after a long break I have returned to play this game, and every single game out of maybe 300 or so has had more than 1 cheater in it. I would be willing to report them if it will really work. Otherwise please respond to tell me it wont be dealt with. So me and my friends will know to take our time elsewhere. Ty for your time.
