I guess Z8 won't be at Games.com next week.
The biggest computer games exhibition in the world starts next wednesday in cologne.Where anyone thats anyone in the games world will be there.
Which is lucky for me not only as i live in cologne but i actually work next door literally 2 minutes walk from the entrance. For 6.50euro you can enter after 4pm so i think i will pop in after work.
Anyway my question is i have looked at the list of exhibitors and z8 doesn't seem to be among them.
Is that because they don't have the money to participate or do they deem the biggest show on earth not worthy enough of their presence?

Only game worth seeing their is league!
I've got no idea about any games.I'm way behind on whats going on.I've only played crossfire and C&C3 in past year.
I used to always go to the PCW event in earls court over 20 years ago when that was the biggest games exhibition in the world.
I'm sure there will be some freebies given out. So will be worth a look i guess. I remember last year when Z8 offered the gsg9 character 20% off to promote their participation in the event. -

Then how could you suggest that you know that anyone who's anyone is going to Gamescom this year? There are lots of good games and game companies not going to Gamescom.
The answer is No, we won't be attending a full booth this year. Gamescom and the organizers do partnerships with Canadian Game Developers, we are a publisher and receive no special treatment in that regard. Gamescom is also across the pond and comes at a great expense for a small game company like ourselves.
It's very unfortunate that we won't be attending this year, we hope that there will be other opportunities for Cross Fire to make live appearances at conferences and LANs alike. But for this particular one we've had to pass by!
Also note that if we were attending under the exhibitor list we would be listed as G4Box. Z8Games is just the name of our games portal which currently supports 2 games. -

Point taken i know alot of the games developers even going back to spectrum,zx81,vic20 days many of them still are producing software now.In terms of the last few years i know nothing because i don't have a computer that could even run 90% of the games so seems pretty pointless keeping upto date with games i couldn't run anyway.Having said that with it being the largest exhibition in europe and having read on other sites the world. I think its fair to say that the anyone who's anyone will be there. I'm not trying to score points on this matter and am also disappointed that crossfire won't be there.

So are we! It just didn't work out for this one. Especially with the large pavilion for Free to Play games they will be having there this year.
When the opportunity comes to attend any shows like these we'll make sure there's lots of announcements and coverage! -
Dreamhack is a LAN though, not a game exhibition.
