Connection has been delayed! :( please help!
Hey guys i've seen this problem before when my crossfire sometimes says "Connection has been delayed", but today it happened all the time.
I tried to reinstall but didn't help...
I got to a new school were i am 24 hours a day = new internet connection... Could that be a reason?
Anyone got same problems or knows what to do?
Thanks already:):):)

Try to open proper ports in router (i forgot nubers of this ports)
If this internet isn't yours they probably blocked ports for connections with games.
Try to contact with owner.
I have similiar situation in my work :P Is not possible to connect from work (damn :P) -

How many computers and other devices (such as PS3's, Xbox's, etc) do you have running off the router ? I know having multiple devices running will slow down and weaken your signal strength by a good bit which will cause random drop outs in online games.

Is anything blocking your internet?
maybe im on a school so cant say...LOL it's so helpfull :P
Do you have router?
Yes but i cant do anything too it cause its the schools router:(Shadow_Force wrote: »It's the router. I sometimes get that error, eventually I noticed it was my router, because it tends to block several ports. Just turn off your router and wait a couple of hours, or disconnect it and use only your modem.
its not sometimes i CANT join a map at all:(Yeah, use ethernet cable instead of wireless or tweak your router/modem security settings to minimum whenever you play the game which is risky all-in-all but could still help with that error.
Not my router... just schools...How many computers and other devices (such as PS3's, Xbox's, etc) do you have running off the router ? I know having multiple devices running will slow down and weaken your signal strength by a good bit which will cause random drop outs in online games.
I think about 100 but we got 50/50 bit so shouldn't be a problem...
