English test before entering Crossfire?

Hey guys,
How about an English test for new registered accounts before entering Crossfire? It really is sad what some people are talking out there. You can not even discuss to someone who is insulting you because this person just doesn't know any english except from some insultings. I don't say my English is perfect but at least I know how to express myself. So guys, please think about it. I know this is a difficult request but I think this makes sense.

    Greets,

if CF had an english test for new accounts ... the game would be a barren wasteland with nobody playing on all servers lol.

also, cf is a multicultural game, and too say the only language allowed is english would be a rasist thing for the owners too do.

i am 100% english and im all for it lol, but in reality it will never ..... ever happen
  • Z8Games now supports a South American license. Meaning that there would be tons of many non-English speaking players playing in the South American server. This version of Cross Fire isn't the Cross Fire NA version anymore [it was in closed beta and open beta]. It's Cross Fire NA/UK/SA, we can call it Cross Fire America + United Kingdom.

Basically, the South Americans are all here to stay, they're just using our servers until Z8Games can negotiate a server for them [they got the license to put a server in SA, which is a massive step for the game]. Why would they IP restrict South America? SmileGate [the developers] ordered all hosting sites to restrict all IPs except for the ones that the had licenses to put servers in. Exactly that happened. What's the point of IP restricting South Americans if they're getting a server in a month or so?

Because z8 are money hungry and change there minds whenever they please.

Originally it was NA only remember, now look. They have licenses for the UK and SA? wtf.

Nobody ever said that this was the NA/UK version. That was assumed by the community because of the fact that we had NA servers and UK servers. The game was originally Cross Fire NA in closed beta, because we only had Rookie Server, Alpha to [whatever server; I forget], and Beta Clan Server. The UK players were amounting up, and G4Box had the licensing to place a server in the UK anyways, so we took them up. Finally, G4Box acquired the license for South America; so we're about to pick them up too.

This game isn't CF NA, it isn't CF NA/UK, it isn't CF NA/UK/SA, it's not CF International. It's Cross Fire, hosted by Z8Games. There's not legitimate name for versions for Cross Fire. They all say "CROSS FIRE" on their home pages. The NA/UK add on was done by the players, assuming that Cross Fire was only designed for them.

By the way, G4Box had licenses for the UK as long as NA when the game was made. They didn't get UK servers because of the fact that the game had tons of them. Now we have tons of South American players who like the game, so we get a license for them. No harm done.

First, I know that this would decrease the players of CrossFire and I also know somehow that this hardly will be happenning but though I think this is a good idea.

Second, I don't want to be English the only language allowed but I think some basical knowledge of this language could be required without letting the game slip into racism. The used language of the game IS English. Would it be racist to ask a Turk in an American supermarket to speak English instead of turkish? I don't think so.

No, the fact that everywhere forum/in-game. Would complain about the SA players. There were tons of threads created to give ideas on the issue. The fact that whenever someone suggested to make servers for them. It was an answer saying' No, we do not have any future plans for SA servers'. 'This is a NA/UK only game'.

    Now look...SA servers.

I guess CF don't know what they want.

orly? what's this then? (copy pasted from another thread because it applies here and you clearly havn't read it).

They lied to us, go here and read what it says:

    http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=165034

In case you can't understand what I'm pointing out and you still think that they didn't say they were going to IP ban Brazil, how about you read these quotes that CLEARLY explain it three times:

"Today we are announcing an evolution in the NA/UK version of Cross Fire with the introduction of IP restrictions for players outside North America and The UK."

    and

"Soon, Cross Fire services under Z8games will be restricting newly created accounts made through IP addresses outside our North American and UK regions from accessing the game."

    and

"after these restrictions are enabled, players outside of the NA/UK region may still be able to make an account on Z8Games.com, but they may not be able to access the Cross Fire servers.

last time I checked, North America and the United Kingdom did not include South America.
  • lol
    i'm perfect at English
why do i need this to enter Cross Fire ?!
the teachers tough well,,in my school :D
    ..
  • I think Z8/G4 knew the ip restrictions were coming and thought they may one day lose their beloved Brasilians just like they did the European players, so they thought they had better get a license.

Prior to this they were happy having their unlicensed BR players, but the thought of losing them was too much;)
  • It says that anybody on the forum and in the game can a little understand and type in English because he could register and then log in.
  • this game is full of BR Turks speaking dummies kika mini ping~~~~ rack 1 shot in the head , he rack.. kika
