Cf-eu
Okay as all this ip restriction has came out and now theres an annoucement for crossfire eu.As when teams move over there and want to stay as a serious team and want to be competetive and do wogl or esl But the rules in both leagues are going to be played in na/uk version i was just wondering on what peoples inputs are going to be on this situation?

Z8 will still have all of UK. So it really wont matter that much.
And I don't think you can talk about it because it is another version of CF. It's against the rules to talk about other versions. -

Makes no sense, Z8Games makes 17.5M annually anyways. Also, with EU players leaving, it means less server prices because of the riddance of some players. It's a balance. Less money from EU players buying ZP, but less costs in having to host that many UK servers just for all of EU. Now, the UK servers can either be minimized [not my call, just a guess] or something to do with making an exclusive UK only server.
It balances out in the end. Z8Games makes more money than any one average person living the EU, so it's not really a loss on their part. You're still paying money to CF EU, and they all work for the same developer, so you're still helping the game. -

I reckon z8 won't lose many existing players...why would you stop playing a game that you have a fairly high rank on, know many people on and have spent so much time getting good at it...I know that almost all of my clannies intend to stay on this version... -

Are you serious ? Whole Europe except the UK will move to CF EU, and UK players will be left with Mongolians, Turks, Egyptians and Brasilians ( I forget Whole Africa and SA too, sry

I'm pretty sure they wont allow the UK to go there. Since the IP restrictions (if they have it in that version). Z8 still has the license for the UK and that's not going to change anytime soon. -
I reckon z8 won't lose many existing players...why would you stop playing a game that you have a fairly high rank on, know many people on and have spent so much time getting good at it...I know that almost all of my clannies intend to stay on this version...
lol 90% of people only play on the EU because they get lower ping than NA servers, so if theres servers being added into ANOTHER version of this game for people to get lower ping (competitively speaking... ) people will jump on it.
as for rank and guns... well lets just say there are one to many EU's not exactly buying zp lol
and rank means nothing in this game, just like honour lol -

u kidding, lasting long? ill of quit this game in about a week n half before it even starts. gonna play another game lol besides im becoming more and more bored of the same crap maps with the same crap zp guns instead of gp with the same damned people lol. people mad here people mad there... everywhere lol this game isn't even fun anymore. -

well if its all the same to you i hope nobody in uk servers buy zp anymore on purpose and then sell the license to smile gate interactive lol. -
And with that IP restriction thing and the justification why you aren't allowed to make a new account in some countries they just failed more. Some countries get "banned" from cf 'cause there are other CFs apart from z8s allowed ? Wouldn't it be a goal for z8 to keep this players at their cf instead of make em move to another cause it seems like z8 doesnt want em here?

Well seeing that there's no difference in the maker of the game the same would have happened to the game in the end anyway. Just like anything, popularity is both good and bad.
Also as has been stated before. The ip restrictions are not Z8's descision -

Well idk where it was said but somewhere here on forum by a mod i think. he said that cf is "banned" in countries that have another cf. So from my point of view it sounds like z8 didnt get the license or whatever it is for those countries that have another cfWell seeing that there's no difference in the maker of the game the same would have happened to the game in the end anyway. Main point is we got told this game is going to be Na/Uk only then they allow other country s in which will now ruin the game for the Uk peeps. They make the Eu one where a hell of a large amount of people that go into the Uk servers go and most will go there in time which the Uk can not get into leaving this game Na/Sa.
They lied and ****ed use over. -

Sure they wont allow UKs to go to CF EU. But that wasnt my point. I was tlaking about this version - In a few months European numbers will reduce and TR, BR,..., will proliferate on UK servers. Basically, you will be left with 2 options - leave CF or try your luck on soem NA servers, where community still exists. -
CF USA account to CF EU?

I wanna know something. Since there are IP restrictions and sh1t, I think in the future all European accounts etc will be banned from this version.
So I'm wondering. Is it gonna be possible to get your account from CF USA to CF EU? If not, tell it to someone who can decide things @ Z8Games.

Realize that it's the same developer. A host wouldn't do anything. Players in CF-EU will have to wait another 2 years and half to "catch up" to what our version is right now. Meaning, we'll have much more guns and maps than the EU version when you guys finally get the updated replay system.
Also, Subagames is basically Z8Games, they split up, but the CF division kept most of the same staff. That's why we still have FallenAngel, Saidin, BigBang, etc. They're the same person.Hi.

Every version of Cross Fire was directed to do the same thing; block all new IPs that they do not have licenses for, because SmileGate was planning to expand Cross Fire world-wide. Z8Games and G4Box had somehow acquired the license for South America previously to the restriction; therefore they got to keep the area. The UK was apparently always G4Box's, so they won't drop that. That's why Brazilians weren't banned. Smilegate ordered all hosting companies to keep the licenses they have right now, and to not ban IPs that they had licenses for. That's like not driving after getting a license.
The chances of Z8Games / G4Box dropping a license is slim to none. -

And cf eu will be stuck with lots of german pubstars that are already annoying on the cfeu forum ;-)

Oh dear, glad that i can still play here with my 50 Ping. - I am a Turk (I learned only German and English* (*Still learning.) myself, but well. I dont want to be stuck in a room full with germans. I dont know why, but i prefer to be in a room full with UK players/NA Players. (They are much more friendly (atleast for me) then germans.
