hmmm that is interesting... so are they gonna buy the rights off CF NA for the uk servers? or are new servers in place already :S people in the EU atm are getting really confused by all this tbh and if it means that they already have in place new servers, then doesnt that mean that the uk servers will be kept by CF NA and then the uk servers will be affectively dead? :S makes no sense.

There's no reason they both can't have servers.
Yes there is. G4Box owns the license to the UK. The reason why UK players are restricted from the EU version is because G4Box does not have a license for that version, nor does SGI have the rights to our version. UK players and servers will stay under G4Box until otherwise notified. -
In other words:
The two (or more companies) are fighting over the rights to open new servers in Europe.
G4box hasnt got any right to accomodate European players (despite the UK which in fact is a political error).Asian players have their own version of this game so there is no need for them to play here.
Europe (as I see it) is a new, currently open market which will be accomodated by another company (or companies). If this will be the case there will be a huge competition. Which is good, maybe then G4box will realise that hacking is bad and they should do something about it.
Also be prepared to pay monthly fees - every company will have something to offer to you so this is logical solution for this.
One more thing, the restrictions will remain. This may mean you wouldnt be able to play with players from Europe. E.g. If you are living in the (sh1t smeeling UK) you will not be given a chance to play with your mates that live in (lets say) Norway or Poland. -

Yay, you included Norway. Anyway, we can still play on our accounts though. But we cannot create new ones and play on those. So, I can still play some games with my mates from UK. -

According to their Facebook page, the only reason UK players have had the restriction error is due to a technical glitch, though a few of us have still signed up.
