Question regarding IP Restriction

Could someone from UK/NA not just make an account for someone from the countries that have been ip restricted?

No. They don't care if an account is made, it just will not be useable by an IP in a restricted area. This is based on IP at point of use, not point of creation. This was covered in [GM]Saidin's original post about it. The game servers are the ones that will enforce the restriction.

Something like this, I imagine:

Login
Server select.
Check IP.
Restricted zone do ->
Check date of account creation.
If creation date<8/3/2011 allow.
If creation date>8/3/2011 D/C.
Profit

Fair enough. What do you think the chances of them limiting SA players to the SA servers is? And the same with NA players to the NA servers?

If they do things right once the SA servers are up and running they'll put another restriction on SA so they can't enter the NA servers since they will have their own servers then. Because the SA servers will be a waste if you don't force them their because the BR's love trolling us in NA with their hacks and annoying us so why would they leave ?

It doesn't matter if the account is made by someone inside the NA/UK.... If you read the post they can still make accounts, they just can't log in on accounts made after the IP restrictions.

Which they might it was not confirmed that they wouldn't or would. It's neutral right now.

This version is for NA and the UK which has a license.

No. Even if an account is made by a friend, the IP will be check when you log-in the game and if you are from a restriction region, it will block you from entering the game.
