Incompetent GM
So, there was an announcement about the IP restrictions being implemented, which got almost every North American player excited, finally no more BRs with their FDP and constant QQ of h4cker h4cker, when all along, they are failing hard even with 1 shot kill.
Now tell me, why didn't Saidin inform us that South Americans are still allowed to create new accounts? It makes absolutely no sense.
There is absolutely no way to interpret that any other way, a normal person would presume that Brazilians will be blocked, last I checked they are not in the UK region, nor the North American region.
And also, why didn't the GM inform the players of the misconception when numerous topics sprung up in "celebration" of getting rid of these filthy h4cking BRs?
Like some other players proposed, could we possibly have Alpha as North American only? Or at least block the BRs from it?
I absolutely can not stand them.

Today we are announcing an evolution in the NA/UK version of Cross Fire with the introduction of IP restrictions for players outside North America and The UK.
Soon, Cross Fire services under Z8games will be restricting newly created accounts made through IP addresses outside our North American and UK regions from accessing the game.
There is absolutely no way to interpret that any other way, a normal person would presume that Brazilians will be blocked, last I checked they are not in the UK region, nor the North American region.
And also, why didn't the GM inform the players of the misconception when numerous topics sprung up in "celebration" of getting rid of these filthy h4cking BRs?
Like some other players proposed, could we possibly have Alpha as North American only? Or at least block the BRs from it?

Hello? Not everyone of them will go in Brazil Server (if it actually happens)....there's some people that doesn't even know what ping is...ugh so disappointed...i also thought they gonna block South America but then I was wrong...but then in the other side...im still happy atleast it's improving -

I realize this characterization is biased, but it's just the way I feel when I see a BR ever since I started playing this game. I can't remember the last game I played without a BR tagged h4cker, or a BR qqing. It's ridiculous.
Do you realize how much longer we will have to wait for a BR only server? Z8games works REALLY slow if you haven't noticed.
Also, even if there was a BR only server, I doubt they would stop coming to North American server to h4ck. -

Do you honestly think that a server name "Brazilian Server" won't draw Brazilians to the server? It's not like they have a one digit IQ; they just speak a different language than you; which is why they appear to be not intelligent. The language barrier does tons.

I completely agree with this thread. All of those in the UK/NA had their hopes torn down by the very vague explanation on the IP restrictions. And yes, we understand now they can set up servers in South America, but that doesn't stop BR/South Americans from entering other servers/channels and continue this non-sense. I can't play a single game without getting kicked by a BR. Quite annoying. Any who, any man with common sense would easily see this as a way to make more money for Z8.

Well, how about the rookie players that loves to go to Alpha or something...It's just like UK servers came out...until now there's still even some people from UK that goes to alpha, delta, west coast servers....not everyone of them will know it....maybe yes but may take time though im happy with what they've done....atleast it's improving...and they blocked most countries in asia -

Exactly.
As for language barrier, I play on Alpha 7, they speak Chinese, I could care less, they don't hack, they don't QQ.
Now play with a BR clan, you get kicked 100% every game if you top frag.
Not to mention, the BRs hack, then accuse you of hack when you kill them. -

A specific stereotype was developed that a lot h4ck/QQ a lot. This is supported by actually seeing this daily.
And most importantly, how long will this new server take? Z8 is slow to develop things. Just saying. -

Bringing up your post count is no way to flame you, I was merely pointing out that not everyone, and I believe 99% of the population on here have the patience like you do. And I've already mentioned, these people are in Brazilian clans, but I guess they aren't BRs? I do not assume every 200 pinger is a BR, when they ask algeum br, with their 200 ping, they aren't BR? And guess what happens if you don't respond to them?
I guess everyone just wrongfully blames BRs for h4ck right? Geez, why don't people blame Mexico? Why Brazil? Why not Argentina? Why Brazil?
Please, just because you are a league admin does not mean you need to act like a mod on the forum and stand alongside the GM regardless of right or wrong. In this case, CLEARLY Saidin failed to communicate precisely what will happen with the restriction as seen in my quote. -

We received no confirmation date. Be patient, the server will come. -

Did you think that Saidin strolled into his office one day, and stated that, "Oh, let's take a random survey, and make half of the Brazilian population give us their IPs and their locations. Just for fun."
The reason that it was taken, was assumed by the community to either be A) the coming of the Brazilian server, or
Saidin's proof and debate material to debate with the higher ups to get a license.
If you didn't see the clues; it's not my fault it came as a surprise.
I didn't know that the BRs wouldn't be included in the IP restriction, but I knew that they had obtained the server license; therefore I wasn't surprised.
Why would I stand by the GMs? They're not my bosses. I've been standing by common sense the whole time. Why get your drivers license, and not drive?
