Fixing FPS Lag. Help!

Frames per second has a lot to do with your graphics card. If you have a poor to standard graphics card, your frame rate will not be high enough to guarantee fluid motion. But even with a good graphics card, other things could cause for you to lag and experience a lower rate of frames. I would start by taking a look at your graphics card. Then I would tweak the performance of your computer and then the performance of your computer over the internet. Minimize the amount of background processing and applications so that they don't cause for more demand on your computer when you're gaming. You could download some type of system performance application but the change may not be enough for you to tell a difference or, it may be enough for you to tell a difference, it just depends on what's going on with your computer. I know this is general and somewhat vague but it's just the same with anything else; the problem can be the result of one factor or several factors at the same time.
