Weapon advice.
I'm new here, so sorry if this is not the correct place for this thread..
What are some of the better weapons to use? I know I could use that try before you buy kinda thing in the range but I dont think it helps really until you get to use a gun ingame. anyway from the weapons i've picked up (haven't spent any of my GP yet), I like how steady the K-2 feels but I did die alot when trying to use it at close range. So far I am getting by, using the default weapon you get upon sign up (I forget the name, but the recoil is horrible and quite unpredictable.)
Anyway, what are some of the more reliable weapons you would recommend to new players? Thanks, and sorry for such a long post.

ak47 wins k2 in closecombat.
But overall k2 is the best weapon in the game [ No kidding ]
Ak47 is very powerful too.
So get ak47 or k2, you decide.

k-2 is pretty good. I'd go for m4 as a beginner.
Other people recommend the ak 47 but that gun has tons of recoil- highest in the game possibly.
Another good gun is the aug but it sometimes fails you due to it not always being a 1hit hs at long ranges.
I'd say go for m4. -
the m4 is the best gun in the game. it has very low recoil, good fire rate and good damage. its usually a 4shot kill to the body but its extremely easy to get headshots with as the recoil is very low so you can 2,3,4,5,6,7 round burst with it although i would only burst as high as 3 long range and 5 medium range.

i say you have to try them for yourself and find out everyone here has a dif style of playing some love the ak's others the m4 and some say go Xm8 it's all up to the player and if they can handle the recoil,fire rate, and spray pat. of the weapon i myself like the shotty's like the stakeout,Xm1014 and the spaz everyone has there own taste good luck ^^

Things to level up quickly.
Main-M4A1/QZB/AK-74/SG552/K-2: Choose one of the 4, they are useally very dependable
Secondary-Desert Eagle/Glock (only if you aim for the head, it's a fun gun) or P228.
For SMGs, M12 is technically the best, but you will get trolled alot for it. Other than that, I would choose the MP5.
