Unjust BAN
So me and some clan members where playing. One of my clan mates owns a MOD a few rounds. MOD calls him a hack, and bans him. Now I have been playing with this guy along time. Hes no hack. So I PM a MOD ask him to do something about this. The MOD just stands by the Other MOD, saying to bad hes ban.. Funny thing is if you are I report a real hack, he plays for another 6 mounts before a ban. (if any) So a MOD that's having a bad day can cry hack and ban you right away? So MOD post the replay of this hack....... I guess now I will be ban ? MOD Attack..lol

By mod hes referring to a rather unknown GM.
It went down like this;
GM pubs.
User cheats.
GM bans cheater.
A couple of guys in the same room "knows" the cheater, so they start saying he doesn't cheat, that the GM can't ban and you can probably imagine the rest of the random trashtalk.
Theres always ten ways to describe how events went down.
I personally chose to put my faith in the GM spending eight hours a day on this game trying to improve it, and decided to defend him rather than a cheater and the guys raging cause the cheater got banned.
I'm the MOD, Sgt.Pepper (or something, not entirely sure) is the GM. -

We have more staff than just the few that you might recognize on the forums.
And all of them can spot what is a fairly obvious player shooting fairly obviously through walls.
Additionally all our GMs have the ability to issue bans, and will not tolerate abuse from other players within the game.
It was made clear that this player was going to be banned for hacking, and subsequently other people in the game felt the need to speak their mind in a generally negative way.
The hacker was removed from the game, and other players were subsequently issued temporary suspensions for conduct going against our Terms and Conditions.
If you have any questions, we first suggest reading the Terms of Use for the game. Especially the clauses on account closures, our rights to close accounts, and in-game harassment and abuse. -
He didn't give him a permanent ban. He ban him for harassment, for a few days...
Well there you go... you insult a GM or MOD you are just asking for a ban. You keep asking for a replay of your friend hacking... Why dont YOU prove that the GM was hackusating yoru friend first...
If the GM truely thought he hacked your friend would not of got a temp ban -
Additionally, there seems to be a fallacy at work here. Some players don't actually seem to realize that our GMs and staff members play Cross Fire all the time.
Just because there is no specific event going on at this moment doesn't mean we aren't playing the game. Or that we're not on the lookout for hackers. Or in this particular case, enforcing the rules for our Terms and Conditions. -
