No game sound

Hello,

I just installed CrossFire on my laptop. The game is running fine, except that I have absolutely no "game" sound. I mean, I can hear the radio one, and the "doublekill" message, and the little groan my SPOP make after dying, and the music of the game when on selection screen. But I can not hear breath, fired bullet sounds, the sounds of footsteps...

Obviously, I check the sound settings: everything is enabled. I reinstalled the game, but same problem.

And, as you can guess, it's merely unplayable this way...

I have Windows 7, SP1.
